@jk_rowling Helen Joyce makes a great point: no matter how GC women make the case, we will be deemed unkind because the only way to be kind is to fully comply. We may as well stop worrying about our “tone.”

@jk_rowling Hayton is a con artist. He violates women's spaces. He rewrote the manifesto that led to the abolition of single-sex bathrooms in schools. He gaslights his pupils into calling him "Miss".

@jk_rowling Sometimes it's not enough to be on the right side of things, which we are. We also need to sell our arguments to the public at large, and we're blessed with great communicators like @HJoyceGender and so many others.

@jk_rowling HJ is my sapiophile crush (along with so many!). Sorry

@jk_rowling Perfectly put. We need to call a man a man to make our argument. And that’s that.

@jk_rowling Beautifully said. Men will never be women. The end.

@AmTiredNBored @jk_rowling How has this charade gone so far ?

@jk_rowling MEN CAN NEVER BE WOMEN GOD MADE YOU EITHER MAN OR WOMAN THAT'S ALL THERE IS TO IT

@jk_rowling I wish I could speak so calmly yet with such knowledge and clarity to shut down the conversation.she is superb
