Here is a heartwarming story. Ever since Ginger joined us, Bunsen has REALLY wanted to be her friend. He was curious about her, mesmerized by her movement, and enthralled by her presence. Early on, he followed her and just looked at her as she jumped on things that probably broke his brain. Sadly for Bunsen, Ginger wanted nothing to do with the big guy. She would occasionally bat his face if he got too close or attack his tree trunk legs. One time she tried to bite his tail. Don’t worry, Bunsen is so fluffy he never got hurt. Eventually he gave up and just let Ginger run the house- he gave her a wide berth if she was sleeping on the floor and watched her warily when she crossed in front of him while he was laying down. Yesterday Kris said LOOK and Ginger was in Bunsen’s crate. Perhaps it was to escape Bernoulli’s terror, but Bunsen was thrilled. It only lasted a hour, but Bunsen was happy. He had come off his pain meds and had been crying in pain for a while. When Ginger jumped into his crate, Bunsen stopped crying. You can see his happy wag in the video. He was over the moon she was so close to him. We will never know really what animals think, but I’d like to think they care for each other in their own way.

Finished Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced and SPOILERS AHEAD. - I never played OG but have played AC 3, as soon as I heard Kenway I was wondering if Haytham was his son, and he is. - Pretty sad to see that his wife couldn't make it but at least his daughter did and chose the last name of her mother. - So many characters died in this game, gotta feel for Edward but at least he got a happy family, at least part of it - all along I was wondering if Blackbeard will be the villain of the game but his death hit me hard. His words - 'In a world without Gold, we could have been heroes' is one of the best lines ever delivered in video games, I feel like.

A photo of Junbeom and Suho. Two theories: 1. Junbeom is really Junbeom, and the one who died in Syria was his friend Suho. Since Seolah was Suho’s gf, he would’ve talked about her to Junbeom. And his last wish was for Junbeom to protect her. But he knows Suho died because of Seolah (really?), so he probably approached her at first with revenge in mind. But the show is called SIREN’S KISS, so he might end up falling for her. 2. The one who died in Syria was actually Junbeom. The real Suho didn’t die, got plastic surgery to look like Junbeom, and came back as Junbeom. "We do adoption events every month. Yesterday was our biggest one. Forty-two dogs found homes. It was a wonderful day. Winston did not find a home. He is eleven years old. He is large. He is silver-gray and his whole muzzle is white and his eyes are the color of a winter morning and he is the gentlest dog I have ever put on a leash. He sat in the same spot for six hours. He did not pace. He did not bark. He watched every dog around him get chosen and he wagged his tail for every family that walked past him without stopping. Every single one. For six hours. At 5pm when the last family had left and the last car had pulled out of the parking lot I turned around and Winston was sitting at the edge of the empty lot wagging his tail at the space where the people had been. I sat down on the asphalt beside him. I put my hand on his silver back. He leaned into me. I don't have a word for what I felt. I have worked in rescue for nine years. I have never sat on a parking lot asphalt at the end of a failed adoption event and felt so completely undone and so completely certain simultaneously. Undone because he deserves everything. Certain because he is going to be okay. Both at the same time. Both because of him. He wagged at the empty parking lot. That is who Winston is. That is who he has been every day of his eleven years. Here it comes Starting out in Australia I never thought things like this were possible. No one from Australia had ever “made it” so the idea that anything like this would ever be a reality seemed so far fetched. This week I got to wrestle in front of over ten thousand, countless friends and family, do interviews with the news outlets I grew up watching, test myself against some of the greatest to ever do it and just so happened to get into the best shape of my life for it. Plus I got to share my beautiful country with my beautiful life partner for the first time (and see Bodhi the golden) This entire week has felt surreal. Overwhelming at times but all worth it for one of the best days of my life. Thank you for being a part of it in any way, it will never be lost on me how blessed I am to live this life. I’m gonna be riding this high for a long time.

This might be the greatest counting video ever. I don’t want to spoil it, so watch it first, then come on back and let’s discuss… ____ There are so many fantastic things happening here as our hero (age: 2 years, 7 months) counts his plastic eggs. In this video we get a sense that he is well on his way to mastering two important early math skills: rote counting and one-to-one correspondence. Rote counting is the process of remembering and reciting numbers in their correct order. It’s a memorized skill - but an important one that helps children to understand that numbers exist in a fixed sequence. One to one correspondence is the process of matching each spoken number to one (and only one) physical object. This little guy pulls it off perfectly, counting with accuracy to 11. His inclusion of 8:30 between 8 and 9 was not only the best laugh I’ve had all week, but a telling stroke of genius as well. Where did it come from? I’d be willing to wager it’s his bedtime - which he’s learned comes between 8 and 9pm. So smart! 🧠 This little mathematician was shared to TT by smaxwell18.
