JUST IN: Texas National Guard has seized Shelby Park in Eagle Pass, preventing Border Patrol officers from entering the area as the border crisis continues to spiral out of control. Good to see Texas taking matters into their own hands 🔥 Eagle Pass Mayor Rolando Salinas says the move was done without city consent. Eagle Pass has been a hotspot for illegal migrant crossings as seen in the video below. BREAKING NEWS: Today at exactly 2:15 PM, a chopper reportedly crashed near Mwihoko Secondary School, directly opposite Ngatho AIPCA Church. According to eyewitnesses, the aircraft was seen spiraling down before hitting the ground with a loud bang that shook the entire area. Some passengers on board were seen attempting to escape using parachutes, but unfortunately, it was too late. A heavy military presence swiftly arrived at the scene to manage the growing crowd and secure the area. Several nearby houses caught fire due to the crash, but the Fire Brigade managed to contain and extinguish the flames before further damage could occur. We continue to pray for the safety of all those involved and for peace within our community. More details to follow as the situation unfolds.

UPDATE - THREE ALARM FIRE The San Francisco Fire Department is currently managing a three-alarm structure fire, deploying over 100 firefighters along with various fire apparatus at the scene. We have shifted from an offensive attack to a transitional approach and are now executing a defensive fire attack. This strategy involves utilizing large water hoses from aerial ladder trucks as well as from the ground to extinguish the flames. At this time, there are no reported injuries related to this fire. We still have a shelter-in-place order for the immediate area, which remains unchanged. Crews continue to try and secure the slop overs that occurred. #wildfire #orfire #orwx Not an easy task by any means, solid work all around. Today, Fire growth potential for the Lookout Fire and Bedrock has increased with more red flags and high temperatures pushing through the area. Gunna be a busy week. It’s full of Narcan, needles, syringes, Fentanyl test strips, medical items and more I was able to find this is in Walker, Minnesota and paid for by taxpayers for the homeless drug addict population to make easier, safer and more addressable to do drugs The area has a fentanyl problem This is doing nothing but helping the drug addicts do more fentanyl Democrat policies are backwards

#VCFD along with our partners at Ventura City Fire, Oxnard Fire and Santa Paula PD responded to a working structure fire in Santa Paula this morning. Arriving crews were met with heavy smoke and flames showing from the residence with reports of a victim trapped. FFs conducted a rapid and aggressive primary search to locate the victim who was ultimately discovered to have escaped on her own. 2 patients were treated for minor injuries and transported to an area hospital. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Just before 12:30 Monday afternoon, the FDNY responded to a 4-alarm fire at 44-49 College Point Boulevard in Queens. Tragically, four people lost their lives in this fire. Two other victims were transported to area hospitals in critical condition. During operations, a stairwell collapsed, trapping two of our members. They were transported to area hospitals in stable condition. More than 230 firefighters and EMS personnel responded. “This is a difficult and tragic day. There were several victims in this fire. The Fire Department did an extraordinary job under difficult circumstances, putting this fire out and saving people. I can't thank them enough for their continued efforts and commitment to life safety,” said Fire Commissioner Lillian Bonsignore. “Upon arrival, we had heavy fire on all three floors of this building. There was a victim trapped on the second floor, which our members removed with a portable ladder. As our engine companies were moving in from the first floor and up the stairs to the second floor, the stairs collapsed, and those two members were trapped in the stairs. With additional help, we were able to extricate those members. As all that is happening, other members are performing CPR on the victims in the street,” said Chief of Fire Operations Kevin Woods. The fire was placed under control just before 2:45 p.m. FDNY Fire Marshals are working to determine the cause of the fire.

We facilitated over 36,000 passengers at Udhna Station on 19th October 2025, which is about 50% increase compared to the same day in 2024. All passengers boarded trains by 4 PM on 19th October and reached their home on Diwali day to celebrate Diwali with their families and loved ones. The coordinated efforts are taken to avoid unregulated crowd. A dedicated holding area was created and a large number of ticket counters are provided for the convenience of passengers. More than 1.2 lakh passengers travelled from Udhna in the last five days. The current status of platforms and the holding area is shown in following images

The military says Palestinians hurled stones at the Israeli civilians, and one of the Israelis opened fire in the air. The IDF says it also received a report of several Israelis who "vandalized a cemetery" in the Nablus area. The settlers also passed through the outskirts of Tell during their hike. The hike, though areas A and B of the West Bank -- normally off limits to Israeli civilians -- was not approved by the army, but the military says troops "had been deployed in advance in the area ahead of the Israelis' arrival, were dispatched to disperse the gathering and worked to remove the civilians from the area." All of the Israelis eventually left the Nablus area, according to the army. Palestinian media reported that one person was shot in the village of Juneid, near Nablus and Tell.
