The pixel work will pull people in. The part nobody warns you about is the long quiet stretch between the reveal and the day enough people actually notice — so post the messy work-in-progress too, not just the clean frames. The mess is what makes strangers root for a solo dev. Is the dragon built around flight, or ground combat?

This is something I am working on massively in my own game🏌️‍♂️ For years I was coached to pull the handle, turn + hold and it killed my game 😭 Appreciate everyone is different but this notion that “release” is somehow bad has not been very helpful overall I’d say 🤷‍♂️
