Hello EXP-0001. Today, we’re releasing a deep dive on how Ethereum account delegation with EIP-7702 works, a spec for third parties looking to integrate, and a forkable codebase that you can extend to build next-generation wallets. And, of course, a demo!

EXP-0001 explores bringing enhanced functionality to Ethereum EOAs with: - Contract Delegation via EIP-7702 - Passkey Authorization via RIP-7212 - Sequencer-sponsored Transactions via `odyssey_sendTransaction` The blog's demo works across devices!

This experiment ships with an accompanying experimental specification for Sequencer-sponsored Transactions, enabled by a new RPC method: `odyssey_sendTransaction`.

There's a lot to do from here: • BLS/ed25519 keys • Session Keys. • Multi-sig • Pay with ERC20s • Free Trials & Account recovery w/ Identity integrations like ZK Email / ZK Passport. * Pay from anywhere / to anywhere

All of this works very easily, without any 3rd party infrastructure, chrome extensions, bridges, gas sponsors etc. -- by bolting on additional functionality on the sequencer. You can see how this is implemented in the Odyssey repository.

This is just the beginning of our experiments. We believe that crypto-powered UX can be 100x better than what we’ve seen so far. It will require a lot of unlearning of habits from the last years, and al to of experimentation. We’re here for it. Join us.
