We had a pet pigeon rescue once, he had a broken wing that healed wrong so ended up living life like a chicken, living in a coop and having his friends come down and visit and eat with him

The pigeon story is kinda sad. We domesticated them over thousands of years. Selective breeding produced hundreds of diverse breeds, many escaped creating the feral city pigeons common worldwide today. Now theyre treated like rats
