Please also share the accompanying letter that stated among other things “an entity not recognized by US”. I seen more than once a family member who happens to be a U.S. citizen applying visit for another family member using similar document “Somaliland Passport” but it accompanied by such letter. You most likely have the letter but opted to omit to make a political point. That’s understandable.
