Good luck Tom 🙏 As a Lebanese Australian I have some suggestions for tour team in Beirut 1. Scrutinise each and every application for an Australian visa. Most importantly the Spouse Visa which is getting abused big time. People are marrying their cousins just to bring them to Australia only to end up divorced as soon as the Lebanese citizen gets Australian residency. 2. Scammers abusing the system by claiming asylum as soon as they arrive in Australia. Lebanon is relatively safe and freedom of speech and religion are no issues. 3. Scammers abusing a business visa scheme to get 1 year visas subject to renewal whereby the register fake companies in Lebanon to abuse the system. We have to protect Australia and only bring in the best and brightest. Good luck and never trust Lebanese politicians.
