KIDS: Nathan Walker is 5'9. He's from Australia. Over his 12 professional seasons a majority of his time has been spent in the AHL, playing over 400 games in the league. The war in Ukraine proved to be very profitable. Now, after many successful Ukrainian attacks, you could see hesitation, growing concern among Russian elite. In the interview of one of Russian oligarchs, Melnichenko, in The Economist, you could see that they would maybe like to stop. Message from Tokayev, president of Kazakhstan, also, "Maybe time to freeze it." It's something that reflected a growing understanding that the war may be damaging for business. But this is very much based on Putin's decision. He still has resources, and I wouldn't overestimate success of Ukrainian attacks. It's a phenomenal, great strategy. They're doing a lot of damage, but it doesn't mean Putin has lost his resources to continue the war. I don't think he will have resources for a long war now, but definitely for a one-year push. This is Stephen Hubbard, an American citizen that moved to Ukraine in 2014, and even though "he has never owned a gun and is so non-military" according to his sister, he enlisted in the local Ukrainian territorial defense when Russia invaded in 2022. He was taken prisoner by the Russian terrorists a few weeks later and has been in Russian captivity ever since, yesterday he was sentenced to 7 years in prison for being a "mercenary" in a Russian court. How about getting people like that home President Donald J. Trump instead of Russian "opposition" figures trying to help Russia?

He has threatened Shoigu and others with dire consequences. 2) Prigozhin has Putin's blessing as head of Wagner PMC, a mercenary group established and largely controlled by the FSB & GRU (Russian Military Intelligence). 3) Army and intel services famously hate each other. The jockeying for power between the various factions has been ongoing. 4) Expect Wagner PMC to retreat from Bakhmut in the coming days to completely screw over Shoigu and the Russian army. This is a perfect way for Prigozhin to setup Shoigu and other generals. 5) For May 9th, Ukrainians may end up controlling all of Bakhmut, and possibly much, much more. This would have highly unpredictable domino effects domestically in Russia. 6) Right now, the Russian Game of Thrones is just backstabbing, scheming in the shadows, assassinations, and so on. He seems to feel bad about being a warrior, and we never actually see him get to do much warrioring ... Nolan makes the protagonist a likeable, all-American hero; Homer's Odysseus wants glory, and he wants to get spoils from the sack of a city! I kept looking in vain for a sense that this was a film about glory. This is a film that has an interest in shame, but I don't think it has any interest in glory.’
