Helmets are designed to break on impact. They absorb the impact. If a helmet is too strong or considered "unbreakable" it is a bad helmet

The job of a bike helmet IS to get crushed, thereby taking the energy away and reducing the acceleration your head goes through. So the last two actually make the worst helmets as they would do the worst job of protecting your brain in an accident.

Unless I’m mistaken the “good” helmet will absorb almost no impact and the brain will take the full brunt of the hit.
