He was already suffering from a psychological condition, and witnessing the murder of his two brothers before his very eyes pushed him into a state of complete psychological breakdown. The mother of the martyrs suffers from multiple illnesses. Their father, this elderly man, works with his own hands, through sweat and labor, just to provide for his family’s living expenses and pay for his wife’s and son’s medication—after his two other sons, who used to help and support him, were killed. The father buried them side by side in front of their home, several days after they were killed. I do not know what drove the murderers to leave the victims’ bodies in the streets for days. Was it a sick desire to stare at the victims’ corpses every moment? Or was it a deliberate attempt to break the hearts of their families, to make them lose all faith in the safety of this country—a country where the rulers cannot even protect their people? Starmer understands: Shed a few tears and we'll forgive him arming a genocide If you want to understand why Starmer has changed his *tone* about Gaza – but not his actions – watch the short exchange below on this week’s BBC Question Time between an audience member and cabinet minister Heidi Alexander. A woman berates the Labour government for still selling arms to Israel in the midst of a genocide. Alexander mixes indignation and tearfulness in her reply, explaining how she's finding it "as sickening and as harrowing as every single person in this audience seeing those images on TV of children wandering around rubble who are never going to find their parents and who are being starved to death." The woman in the audience gives the only correct response to this shameless, self-exculpating display. She shouts at Alexander: "Then do something!" Incredibly, much of the rest of the audience responds quite differently, giving Alexander a round of applause. But Alexander isn't just like "every single person in the audience". She doesn't just have to watch these images every night, as we do. She's in a government that has been directly assisting the war criminals in Tel Aviv for much of the past year. She's in a government shipping UK arms to Israel, as well as US and German weapons. She's in a government approving surveillance flights from an RAF base in Cyprus to help Israel bomb those children's homes into rubble. She's in a government letting UK citizens go to Gaza to help carry out the genocide. She's in a government still trading with Israel. She's in a government refusing to recognise Palestine. The list goes on and on of how Starmer's government is actively colluding in Israel's genocide. If Alexander really feels so upset by the images out of Gaza, she can indeed "do something". She can resign and make clear why she is resigning. She can bring pressure to bear on her own government in a way none of the rest of us can. Instead she sheds crocodile tears – and, like fools, we applaud her. Starmer understands that if he sounds upset, even as he actively helps Israel murder Palestinian children, the media will be able to write him out of these crimes against humanity and wash his hands of the blood of tens – probably hundreds – of thousands of Palestinians in Gaza. And worst of all, too many of us will go right along with this grand deception. If like Tony Blair, Starmer never pays a price for his international crimes, his successor will feel equally free to assist in, or carry out, future crimes against humanity. Starmer and his ministers need to be in the dock of the Hague. What they don’t need is our applause.

⚡️ “What ceasefire? They don’t know what a ceasefire is.” Israeli warplanes bombed a residential block in Al-Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City on Thursday evening, completely leveling four homes belonging to the Abu Hussein, Khroub, Al-Omrani, and Abu al-Lil families, according to local media reports. Footage from Drop Site contributor Abdel Qader Sabbah (عبد القادر صباح) captured residents returning to scenes of devastation after the strike. Diaa Al-Omrani told Drop Site he received a phone call from an Israeli officer ordering the evacuation of an area stretching roughly 300 meters around the targeted block. The officer claimed a military target was present. “I told him there is no military target. Everyone here is civilian,” Al-Omrani said. “Then the strike came and blew up the buildings. These were all civilian homes. They had nothing to do with Hamas or Islamic Jihad.” Residents said more than a thousand people fled the neighborhood before the strike. Rafet Khroub said his family of around forty people was forced into the streets. “There were seven girls with me. An entire family. Where do we go now? Into the street,” he said. Returning after the attack, he found his three-story home destroyed. “I can’t tell my house from my neighbor’s house. Where is my home? Where are my belongings?” he said. “Three floors. It’s all gone. Who is going to compensate us? Who is going to make this right?” Both men said the attack underscored the reality on the ground despite continued U.S.-Israeli claims of a ceasefire. “There is no ceasefire. They don’t know what a ceasefire is. There is no Eid, there is nothing. They don’t recognize anything,” Al-Omrani said. “The war has become even more brutal than before,” he told Drop Site. The officer claimed a military target was present. “I told him there is no military target. Everyone here is civilian,” Al-Omrani said. “Then the strike came and blew up the buildings. These were all civilian homes. They had nothing to do with Hamas or Islamic Jihad.” Residents said more than a thousand people fled the neighborhood before the strike. Rafet Khroub said his family of around forty people was forced into the streets. “There were seven girls with me. An entire family. Where do we go now? Into the street,” he said. It’s all gone. Who is going to compensate us? He rams through police at pro-Hamas rallies with pride and ZERO consequences, but 100% glee — as I witnessed in his videos. He screams at police officers, stealing lyrics from a Ludacris song, "Move! Move, b*tch, get out the way!" He spews Jew-hate. He glorifies terrorism. He incites violence. And he's indoctrinating a whole new generation of innocents with hate and violence. Like the picture I shared in my previous Jag post of him with a little child masked in a keffiyeh. On his IG account, it notes he works at Studio One Tattoo Supplies at 940 Queen E in Toronto. The New York medical examiner ruled her death sudden infant death syndrome, SIDS. But the New York medical examiner, Doctor Persichino, neglected to mention Lila’s swollen brain or the hepatitis B vaccine in the autopsy report. It was ignored. The coroner spoke to my wife and our pediatrician, and notes of the conversation were: “brain swollen, not sure cause yet, could not see how recombinant vaccine could cause problems.” SIDS is a diagnosis of exclusion—it wasn’t this, it wasn’t that, everything has been ruled out and we don’t know what it was. Israel Accuses The New York Times Of Antisemitic Journalism, And Other Notes The Israeli government is currently accusing The New York Times of antisemitic blood libel for publishing a report on Israel’s already well-documented systemic rape of Palestinian prisoners. Non-western and non-mainstream media sources have been covering the facts about Israeli sexual abuse for years. Human rights groups have been warning about the systemic rape of Palestinian prisoners since long before the onslaught in Gaza began. The only reason we’re hearing about it from the mainstream press now is because they got the destruction of Gaza they were seeking, and now the crosshairs of the war machine have moved on to places like Lebanon and Iran. The New York Times does not deserve credit for its too-little, too-late, ass-covering reporting, and it does not deserve the honor of being accused of blood libel by the Israeli government. A Reuters headline from May 10 reads “Israeli strikes kill three people in Gaza, medics say, testing fragile ceasefire”. One from May 7 reads, “Israel strikes Beirut for the first time since the ceasefire” April 27: “Israeli strikes hit east Lebanon, expanding scope despite ceasefire” April 22: “Attacks in south Lebanon strain ceasefire on eve of Washington talks” It’s such a trip how all these dusty old newsroom liches who’ve never created an ounce of art in their lives can spontaneously transform into wildly creative wordsmiths when they need to run cover for Israeli abuses. ❖ Speaking of headlines, The New York Times recently altered the title of an article by House Democrats Pramila Jayapal and Jonathan L. Jackson about their visit to Cuba, wording it to remove blame from the United States for the suffering created by the US blockade on the island. The original headline read “What We’re Doing to Cuba Isn’t Just Unlawful. It’s Cruel.” New York Times editors changed it to “What We Saw in Cuba Shocked Us”. They deliberately shifted it to a passive-voice observation without a named perpetrator. This is the same New York Times that right wing Zionists are currently accusing of conducting left wing Hamas propaganda. It’s just a perception management operation for the US empire. ❖ One of the silliest contradictions in the Zionist narrative is that it is simultaneously (A) antisemitic to criticize Israel and (B) antisemitic to conflate Israel with all Jews. Zionists will officially claim that it is possible to criticize Israel without being antisemitic, but that’s not actually their position in practice. We know this because there is not a single vocal and forceful critic of Israel who isn’t regularly accused of antisemitism by Zionists. Not one. They might let you get away with a rare timid critique of individual Israeli officials, but consistently and vocally criticizing the apartheid state of Israel itself (and your own government’s alliances with it) is strictly forbidden. The more you see Nigeria, the less any of it makes sense. There was a time when honesty & honor meant something, that country is long gone, but we can dream again. Nigerians are incarcerated. In prison, people gravitate toward the person that people have the most respect for. You cultivate friendships that will protect you. That is the case in Nigeria, everyone is looking for sanctuary. But the good thing about miracles is that they do happen. One day, Nigerians will finally get the focused leadership they deserve. People love a good story, & everyone is looking for heroes, someone to believe in. I got too much experience with pain. The last election was a battle, & I was deeply attached. I am proud that I was part of it. It changed me though. Nigeria can make you feel so big, yet so small. Your country has changed, & generally for the worse. But I will continue to fight for all the good stuff. I don’t think the Agbados are humans, no one made a medical examination. They are like hyenas in the wild, hyenas have this characteristic foolishness that slap. "The first method for estimating the intelligence of a ruler is to look at the men he has around him." Niccolo Machiavelli told me this..” They will pay one of us to kill one of us, just to say it was one of us." Malcolm X was the little bird. Nothing was ever handed to people on a platter. You have to reach out & grab it. The French did, Russians did. Germans, the Chinese, Austro-Hungarians, the Serbs. All around the world, the proletariat rose from the ashes to demand for their rights. People grew tired of the system & they acted with one voice. Fear makes bad decisions, stick to the plan. And when they come for you, fight back. Cowering makes it even worse. Know that no one is coming to save you. Only Nigerians will love Nigeria enough to save it. As for Peter Obi, he gave Nigerians a reason to smile & be beautiful again. He’s got his own sound, there is a ring to it. Obi is our fiduciary, more like a father. We are the legatees of his great promise. When you promise to take care of someone, you become their father. But it's not easy to repeat success. 2023 was great, but winning was better. That year was WOW! A gastronomic extravaganza. The triumph of good over evil. We were tired of waiting at the table, so we built our own. What a way to make a name for ourselves. Now our courage is around back, we have to get it back. The other camp act like A students, but a lot can happen in 2027. Between the A & E students, the most dangerous are the B. Near to greatness, but not enough great to reach it. Destined to be number two. But A students become comfortable, they relax. Pride is their first sin. That election is still fresh on our mind. There was this loud triumphal tone to it. A sort of trumpety-relentlessness & surging-uplifting energy, you could almost feel the echo. We’ve played the heroes for so long, sometimes we forget we are kids. We are the true definition of Nigerian heroes. We sipped into the consciousness of everyone who dared to listen. We know how to conjure up & orchestrate heroic melodies. Our music is young, we somehow know how to put it together. We burst into the scene & everything changed. Suddenly, everyone was listening to our sound. Nigerians started to notice us in 2022. We took an already existing camaraderie & sort of reconfigured it to our style. Our melody was subtle yet loud, it’s heard to this day even. We are creating the vibes that have the touch of patriotism & heroism. Our motifs are very evocative & sublime, in a very moody way. And that is the versatility of our movement. The ability to take on anything & weave it into something larger than it appears. Obidients are like lilies. “A flower may die, the best of bloom in the meadows may be no more. But although dirt is thrown at them & water falls on them, still they rise beautifully & defiant with bright colors to dazzle your dreams.” A New Nigeria is POsssible. 😭💪
