Dear Gates Foundation & @NidhiNSrinivas Being a veteran as well as farmer I know well the need for our farmers. While globally, ppl are getting more & more income from their lands, Indian farmers are in still a bad state. Need to go beyond the data & files to see the reality.

GF initiatives may look very help ful to our rural folks & enhancing agrarian reforms & income . But we , scientists,researchers ,admn dealing in agrisector area have to be cautious about introduction of GM seeds , exotic germplasm, biofertilizers ,chemicals.
