He was great bc he actually loved the character. Most of these actors despise the role they are playing but Cavill wore like a badge of honor.

They had to NERF Superman so much just so that privileged child can take a swing at him... Soon as Batman came into the picture Superman became retarded and didn't know how to fight🙄

The sad thing is Henry truly understand Superman and love the character, but he is actor not a writer. The they have written the character, especially in BVS it's not good. They may don't accept but Henry most fun momentos are in the JL Wheddon.
