When she gives Kermit a kiss at the end

this wasn't scripted, kermit is a real frog and they just turned on the cameras, sesame street wasn't even a concept at this point,

To her there was no puppeteer.

It's over for you when Kermit goes

When the world didn’t suck

Cookie Monster seal of approval ❤️

The end was so precious 🥹

Joey Calvan, born 1967, sang the alphabet with Kermit. She appeared in multiple sketches and often went off script.

💯 She is brilliant. She almost does the bunny ears behind his head when he turns around too. She’s a comedic genius at 4

This girl is very intelligent. She's making a joke, and, playing it through. 😄💯

This made my heart grow 10 sizes today. "I love you." At t h e end got me.

The way he son’s muppets interacted with kids was the same as the would with an adult. learning through social interaction without constant pandering and exaggerated surprised agreement. I wish my kid’s shows were made of patience and make believe like these.

Who else misses those Sesame Street and muppet show days? I do. This clip is beautiful. ❤️

Takes me back to first seeing this as a tiny thing. We thought her joke was the actual funniest thing on earth. What a great show.

Miss Piggy would have karate chopped her punk ass.

Cookie Monster backstage like

I freaking love this so much

@TGBED8v8 awww the end though onions... someone is cutting onions

Joey Calvan’s many appearances on Sesame Street.

The way he balled his face up 😭

Ahhh being a puppeteer, such a great job!

We’ve fallen so far…it breaks my heart. I’ve played episodes, or tried, for my g*babies but it holds no interest against Cocomelon or Nastya.

Joey! I went to school with her back in the '70s in NYC. Super nice!

Her reaction at the end was real. She didn't want Kermit to be upset w/ her. He wasn't a puppet, he was a friend. Joey was always my favorite SS kid. I always wanted to be on the show & hang out w/ her and Shola.

That’s so freaking cute. I needed to see this cause they’re all the really sad scary news. This is nice thank you whoever ever posted this.

Where is she today?

By far the most precious skit done on Sesame Street.

That turned out perfect though. Way better. Haha.

when a kid says 'i love you' its always 100% true.

That was the magic of Sesame Street.

One of the sweetest moments in television history. And I remember it. And my mom loved that particular little interaction, as well.

Lol. The 'I Love You' to get him back. ❤️

Oh my, she's adorable, and her laugh could chase away the clouds. The end is innocent love in all its sweetness. Henson masterfully managed a magic moment.

This child is worth more than the entire third world
