This level of entitlement shows no bounds... Inside a holding area, a male police officer confronted a handcuffed woman sitting on a bench. Aurora is not only learning how to stand firmly on the stage. She is entering a new world, where beauty does not come only from outward elegance, but also from the ability to maintain inner calm and balance. On stage, Princess Aurora appears in a magnificent palace setting. She does not captivate the audience through powerful movements or dramatic displays. Her beauty lies in subtle control: A hand extended with delicacy. A slow and measured step. A moment of stillness that appears fragile, yet contains strength. What moves the audience is not only the dancer’s technical ability. It is the feeling that everything is exactly where it should be. The body. The music. The space. And the emotion. Everything comes together in a state of balance. That is what makes the Rose Adage so special. If viewed only from the outside, it is a demanding challenge of classical ballet. Perhaps this is also why people often feel drawn to harmonious movements, steady rhythms, and balanced forms. In everyday life, these qualities are often associated with a sense of order, stability, and smooth interaction between different elements. Art does not create this way of feeling. It awakens and reorganizes something that human beings already recognize through life itself. When music, movement, space, and emotion operate together as one whole, the audience does not simply see a beautiful performance. They recognize a familiar pattern of existence: many different elements cooperating to create a state that is stable, yet still alive and moving. Perhaps this is why the Rose Adage continues to touch audiences across generations. Its beauty does not lie only in a beautiful melody or exceptional ballet technique. Its deeper meaning lies in revealing a principle that human beings continue to encounter within their own bodies and in the natural world: Harmony is not a state of complete stillness. Still go outside because infrared and magnetic cues exist even when the sun disk does not. The suprachiasmatic nucleus (the brain clock) does not run on Instagram sunlight. Alrighty. I don't know about you, but this scene was one of my favorites from ep 23. But, it's been overlooked. It's a heart-to-heart between cihan and fiko. And, it adds fiko among the people who truly know what cihan feels for alya. I love the fact that fiko starts the conversation with 'will you always live like this?' Because that's what the viewers have been thinking since alya and cihan got married. Sure, it's a marriage of convenience of sorts, but any blind person can tell you they love each other. But, cihan is holding back because of boran and maybe in some small part due to his promise to alya. However, to fiko, it seems ridiculous because she can see that the whole arrangement is already tearing at the seams. When fiko makes it obvious there's no point in hiding things from her, because she sees the two of them too clearly, cihan tells her about his agreement with alya. Then comes my favorite part. Fiko says 'don't let go of my daughter's hand, not now or in the future.' That's her way of saying, make it real, make this marriage real. Live what you two feel for each other. And, there's no judgment in her tone or words. Then she makes cihan promise (he agrees all too readily) that how he knows alya and the place she occupies in his heart will never change even by a milimeter in the future. That's her way of telling him, I know you love her. And, his silence is agreement. For those of us forever wondering what cihan feels for alya, here's your answer. He never objects or says he doesn't love her when sado, nare, or fiko confront him with his feelings. And, then fiko tells him to trust his feelings. HOW GOOD WAS IT TO HEAR THAT? Because all he hears from his witch of a mother is he can't have feelings for alya because of boran. But, here's another mother telling him, it's okay to feel what you feel. Trust your love for alya, let it guide you. Then she tells him to trust alya always, no matter what. Why? Because trust and respect are the foundations of love. I love this woman. I do. I hope fiko becomes a permanent fixture in this series. She then rounds of the conversation by repeating 'don't let go of her hand, stand with her always.' Aka, always love alya, always support her, be the shelter she's always wanted but never found. When cihan inquires why she's suddenly talking so openly, she answers life is uncertain. And, like any good mother, she wants to ensure her daughter is in good hands before it's her time to go. She says she wants to entrust her pure-hearted daughter to him and how does ciho respond? He says 'let there be no doubt in your mind.' That's not just taking up a promise. That's a declaration of intent. That's him saying, I'll look after the bird in my hands all my life. Because he loves her too, just like the woman sitting in front of him. This scene was such a sincere exchange of feelings. Both ciho and fiko are conversing without any diversion, without any artifice. It brings the both of them peace, in different ways. It assures fiko that her daughter will be happy with this man. And it assures cihan that his feelings aren't some kind of sin. He loves alya, and it's okay to act on that love. Brilliant, brilliant scene. Brilliant acting. THE AGENT LOOP every message triggers the same cycle: → you send a message → Hermes builds context (SOUL.md + memory.md + user.md + skills + tools + message history) → sends everything to the LLM → LLM decides: call a tool or respond → if tool call: execute, return result, loop back → if response: deliver to you → after response: memory update (agent checks if anything is worth remembering, writes to memory.md or user.md) this loop is why Hermes gets better over time. the memory update after every response means the agent learns from every conversation. 2. Beyond ensuring that no traditional laws or protocols are violated, iPhoyisa’s MAIN responsibility is to witness & formally administer the vows, publicly confirming that a traditional wedding has indeed taken place. He personally administers the vows & wait for makoti’s response without groom's interference. What the elder is shouting, in essence, is a question to makoti, asking whether she is present out of love & her own free will, whether no one has forced her into the marriage. This moment exists to publicly confirm CONSENT. It is therefore sacred & the optics are absolutely critical. KEY PROTOCOLS & OPTICS 1️⃣ Positioning of iPhoyisa: He must stand away from the crowd, (qekelele), usually in the middle of the field, so that he is clearly identifiable to makoti & visible to everyone present. My take : Rarely do I personalise stories. But sometimes one must. Because I come from privilege. And let me use a cliché here - agency. I am fortunate to have both. I come from Haryana. I am married to someone who hails from western Uttar Pradesh. To say that either state ranks poorly on gender justice indices would be the polite version of the truth. My husband and I are also fortunate to still have familial roots in our ancestral villages. And every time I visit whether my village or his -the blessing is almost always the same: “Dudho nahao, puto phalo.” .. back in in the cities ... it translates loosely to: may you be the mother of a hundred sons - . In the village it's always said Literally In the city rarely said aloud but very precisely understood: may you become the mother of sons, because in this country even one son can dramatically elevate a families social standing. A son becomes status. Security. Social capital. He is the lifelong investment expected to yield lifelong returns. The one relationship through which hierarchy can be asserted - just by the virtue of gender - a son - And so the logic begins early. If there are only two glasses of milk, the son gets one not the daughter, sometimes not even the mother. If there is money for only one child’s education, it goes to the son, even if the daughter is brighter, more ambitious, more capable. Investment, after all, is expected to bring returns. And from that logic flows an entire ecosystem: dowry, control, dependence, harassment, silence. What we often describe as “tradition” is, in reality, an economic and social structure built around the premium value assigned to sons. Even when the son is getting married - the privilege of that association is understood to be so acute that the girls family should naturally bear all expenses of the wedding . The tragedy is not only that women are oppressed by it. The tragedy is also that many women are compelled to uphold it, because in deeply unequal systems survival itself becomes transactional. so we can continue to pontificate on #Twisha's death, but we all know the one brutal truth that killed her - we did - we killed twisha : the obsessive premium we attach to a male child. Analyzing Episode 44. Season 2 aka Choice vs Force, and the Repeating Patterns of Oppression When it comes to injustice and oppression in human societies, I find there are three kinds of people. Some are silent watchers, others are enablers, and then there are those who resist. Resistance matters because silence makes room for oppression to grow, and enabling oppression feeds it, until it morphs into a tyrannical beast. But resistance? That's a disrupting force. It reminds systems built on cruelty that human power is never absolute and that fear is never forever. It reminds us that injustice can only survive as long as it goes unchallenged. Even where resistance doesn't bear immediate fruit, it redraws the moral line and allows the victims to be seen. It tells the oppressors their evil is being recorded. Societies don't change because everyone always agrees on something. They change because of a few who refuse to comply with the decrepit patterns of abuse. But what does any of this have to do with episode 44? Well, let's see. We have two stories running parallel in the episode - that of Alya and Cihan, and Kaya and Zerrin. What's common in both tales? Quite a few things, but most importantly, for me, it's how the male-dominated structure of Mardin wants to force two women to live their lives according to what the system dictates is right, rather than what they want themselves. Both Demir and Boran refuse to give up, despite knowing full well that Zerrin and Alya love someone else. And, I refuse to legitimize their behavior built on past traumas, because hey, life ain't easy for anyone. But that doesn't give us a pass to behave like monsters. This entire episode, to me, seems like a tussle between choice and force. The old guard of Mardin, used to issuing orders and having them followed in silence, coming face to face with resistance. With the will to live life on one's own terms. Almost like the writer is trying to say, 'see this shit will just keep going until someone screams enough and fights back.' Let's start with the beginning of the episode. Demir abducts Zerrin and lies about her baby dying so he can later use the same child to blackmail Zerrin into staying with him. Why? Because the psychopath can't see beyond his own wants. Zerrin's choices don't register because to him, she's not a person, just someone to be managed and controlled. So, force becomes his default setting; he lies, emotionally terrorizes, manipulates, does everything to get his own way. And, in this way, he embodies what the episode keeps repeating, that oppression doesn't always have to be violent. Sometimes, it's your refusal to acknowledge someone else's right to choose. There's another scene that stands out to me in this context, where Cihan and Alya are having a conversation, far from the cray cray crowd. In that scene, you get to see what life can be like when two people see each other as equals and choose to work together. When Alya tells Cihan of her fears about Deniz, he doesn't brush them off. He acknowledges them. But then, he also reminds her that she's always been able to get through to her son, and that there's no way Deniz will choose Boran after she informs him of the whole story. What makes CihAl so attractive as a couple is their ability to see each other and acknowledge their humanity and individuality. There's no force here. They stay together because they want to, they choose to. Many people choose to part despite the presence of love, so feelings here take a back seat. It's about free will. Agency. That's the most fundamental human instinct. When you take that away from someone, it's almost like taking away their humanity. Now, I know some of y'all saw the episode and thought Deniz is gonna fall prey to Boran's manipulation. But that's not what I see. When Boran is trying to rip apart CihAl's family portrait, Deniz becomes the reason he can't. And sure, Boran does manage to sway Deniz close to him a time or two, but there are scenes where you can see Deniz pulling back. Like when he realizes Boran really isn't paying any attention to him in the room. And Deniz is Alya's son, too. Which means if there's something he wants, he's going to go after it all out. You can see that in the way he refuses to stop calling Cihan 'Baba' even though Boran tries his level best. Now, let's turn back the dial a little and think about the other message Guilzar let slip in the episode. When Ummu and Ihityar are talking about how Alya is being manipulated by Boran using Deniz, and there's nothing to be done about it, Kadir speaks up. In that scene, to me, Kadir is the writer, telling the audience that the weaponization of a child against a parent isn't acceptable. That the parents, in this case, Alya and Cihan, have feelings too. They've been through hell and were rewarded with true love. And they deserve to live that love. When Kadir says love like that is worth dying for, it seemed to drive home the point that you don't give up when you love like Alya and Cihan love each other. You certainly don't allow yourself to be boxed in a corner because of the love of your child. Because that, too, is a form of coercion. I'm not going to talk a lot about Boran and his tantrums because to me, he and Demir were mirror images in this episode. The ugly face of abuse weaponized as 'love.' And Sadakat? She's the worst kind of enabler there is. She keeps going, Alya, singling her out, simply because she thinks Alya is the weakest link. Since Sadakat can't stand to see her family break apart, she's only too willing to homage to the age-old custom of male compulsion by helping her pislik of a first-born. Ugh. Anyway, going back to the message of this episode - patterns of oppression on repeat? It kind of makes me glad that both Boran and Demir are going to step out of bounds to do something really fcuking stupid. Because their desperation will force a reckoning that's been a long time coming. Yuri Bezmenov was right. MAGA has become the perfect case study in everything he warned about. The former Soviet defector turned KGB whistleblower laid out a blueprint for what he called "ideological subversion." A long-term, systematic process designed to alter a target population's perception of reality to such an extent that they can no longer make rational, self-defensive decisions, and ultimately participate in their own subjugation. A conquered imagination will build its own cage and defend it with passion. It will offer itself willingly to the very system it believes it is fighting. MAGA has become a pristine example of that process. It began as a vessel for suspicion of power, bureaucracy, and empire. What remains is an unthinking chorus that chants on cue, mouths moving in sync to words they did not write, serving ends they will never taste. Stage One: Demoralization Demoralization begins where a population loses its grip on reality. Lies alone are cheap. They break apart under pressure. Demoralization creates a mind that requires lies in order to function. The lie becomes a form of emotional infrastructure and a prosthetic for identity. Remove it, and the person feels as though he is being stripped of his own world. We are living through a moment where a group of people do not just disagree, they do not even acknowledge a shared fundamental reality. There is no common frame of reference, no mutual set of facts from which discourse can even begin. They can be shown, in real time, the unraveling of their worldview, and they will patch over the holes with fantasy rather than face the anxiety of revision. Contradiction no longer wounds the narrative. It gets absorbed, metabolized, and reissued as proof of the narrative's strength. Demoralization destroys the ordinary relationship between belief and evidence. They will sanctify the narrative precisely because it has become impossible to defend by ordinary reasoning. The more absurd the claim, the more intense the loyalty required to sustain it. The absurdity becomes a test of belonging. Trump built his appeal on opposition to the very order he has become. He rose by presenting himself as the enemy of the ruling apparatus and now governs as just another custodian of that same machinery. Every reversal, betrayal, and contradiction is absorbed and excused. Nothing breaks the spell, because the spell depends only on identification. The lie only needs to remain emotionally necessary. Most people cannot bear the thought that they have wasted years in service to a fraud. They cannot tolerate the possibility that their emotional investments, friendships, rituals, humiliations, and hostilities were built around a con. The ego protects itself. Relentlessly. It retroactively justifies the allegiance. The person stops thinking in order to preserve the image of himself as someone who never needed to think. That is why demoralization is so adhesive. It fuses political loyalty to a deep-seated sense of self-preservation. A society cannot remain healthy under these conditions. Stage Two: Destabilization Once a population can no longer think clearly, it can be herded through crisis after crisis, each one burning attention, exhausting energy, and preventing any sustained confrontation with structural power. The target becomes reactive. It lives from panic to panic. It does not build, organize, or discipline itself toward durable objectives. It flails. MAGA has been locked into a permanent crisis cycle for years. Its energy is fed into outrage that never touches the machinery governing its life. Each wave of panic is selected for emotional charge and strategic uselessness. Culture war stimuli keep the base in motion while surveillance grows, corporate concentration deepens, government overreach hardens, and the institutional architecture of control remains untouched. The movement is kept angry enough to remain engaged and scattered enough to remain harmless. A population can be pacified by despair. It can also be pacified by a constant promise that someone else is handling everything. "Trust the plan" they say. Justice is always around the corner. The revelation is imminent. The arrests are coming. The hidden war is being won in silence. The faithful are asked to wait, watch, believe, and hold the line. That formula converts political energy into passivity. The result is paralysis. Destabilization also works by degrading the sense of proportion. Proximate irritants are made to feel civilizational. Meanwhile the actual architecture of dependence remains unexamined. People exhaust themselves hunting phantoms while the systems shaping their material and civic lives continue to consolidate. The movement becomes easier to steer because it has lost the ability to rank threats. Everything is urgent and the calendar fills with outrage. What makes MAGA especially tragic is that it once contained people who could have resisted this trap. It contained dissidents, skeptics, anti-establishment instincts, and a genuine hostility to centralization. Those impulses have been metabolized by the machine they were supposed to challenge. The people who might have torn at the apparatus are now subdued, then mobilized on its behalf. There is something especially grotesque about the object of this devotion. A person might at least understand the seduction of a great disciplined empire. MAGA never offers even that. It offers the cheapest carnival of corruption imaginable, an administration packed with greed, vanity, opportunism, incompetence, patronage, and self-service. Promises unravel almost as soon as they are spoken. The spectacle barely bothers with disguise. The followers drink it as if it is salvation anyway. Stage Three: Crisis The crisis phase in Bezmenov's schema concerns a society worn down enough to demand deliverance. The public does not ask for liberty under those conditions. It asks for relief, order, revenge, reassurance, certainty, and someone who appears large enough to absorb its fear. Trump has always fit that role. He functions as a pressure-release valve for populist rage. He gathers anti-establishment energy, gives it a face, dramatizes its grievances, then routes it back into the same structure that generated those grievances in the first place. That is a magnificent service to the system. The movement believed it was backing a destroyer of entrenched power. It instead received a broker of that power. The Deep State, war machine, surveillance apparatus, mass financial manipulation, all of these remain. In several respects these structures have grown even stronger. The architecture was preserved because preservation was always the function. What remains of MAGA now resembles a congregation of political ventriloquism. The individual vanishes. The script speaks through him. He mouths phrases that did not arise from his own judgment. He absorbs humiliations that would once have provoked disgust. He dedicates years of his finite life to protecting a leader who regards him as expendable, a donor class that sees him as inventory, and grifting opportunists feeding on his loyalty. He experiences that degradation as purpose. There is a special misery in watching people hand their lives away so cheaply. Human beings receive only a narrow stretch of years. They could use them to think, create, love, build, and govern themselves. Instead they turn themselves into instruments for a slogan and become placeholders for a collective impulse. They should feel shame, a severe and clarifying shame, because they are consenting to their own diminishment. Yet shame requires enough independence to recognize the fall. Many no longer possess that reserve. Stage Four: Normalization Years of contradiction, panic, excuse, humiliation, and managed outrage dull the senses. There is no rebellion, only obedience, conformity, devotion to hierarchy, and utter submission. The machine rolls on, and the crowd cheers. Around it, the abnormal becomes routine. Conduct that once would have triggered scandal now barely interrupts the cycle. Public figures lie without craft, humiliate themselves without consequence, contradict themselves in broad daylight, and still move through the culture with an aura of legitimacy. The shameless becomes expected. The wider public learns to witness absurdity without resistance, then to accommodate it, then to speak as though it had always been there. A society's nervous system gets trained to stop recoiling. The final victory of ideological subversion does not require everyone to love the system. Resentment, fury, distrust, and even acquiescence can all be captured, directed, and fed back into the same arrangement so long as the subverted never recover themselves. The captured person is severed from his own judgment and handed back to himself as a member of a managed mass. He still feels intense, righteous, and awake. Yet his interior life has been entirely annexed. MAGA has made the process visible in almost unbearable detail. The people who imagined themselves the last defense against collectivist capture have become its most complete expression. This is the endgame. What comes next is a country hollowed into a ritual corpse, still draped in its symbols while power feeds openly on the wreckage. Once subversion is complete, collapse becomes the atmosphere itself.

Introducing the Content Machine! This was the first time I walked through the mechanics of our anti-slop content system & how we drive 10,000,000+ impressions at tenex with a marketing team of...2. Thanks to claire vo 🖤 for having me on her show to share. Full-writeup & interview below... What is the Content Machine? A directory of daisy-chained skills that turn what you already say into publish-ready content. This is the key way to avoid turning into a slop cannon. It mines the places you already talk (Slack, Notion, Gmail, Linear, GitHub) plus what the internet is saying, finds the ideas worth writing, interviews you to extract the story, drafts it, and edits it to a 9/10 bar before you post. What are the principles of this system? 1) It is not a "write me a post" prompt. The core belief baked into it: the raw material must come from you. 2) The machine never invents your voice and never fabricates your insight. It does the research, the structure, and the editing, so your time goes only to the part only you can do. It focuses the human on the first & final mile of the content process. How is it structured? A two-layer split between the process & the person - The process layer is generic and shared: the pipeline, the content-type specs, the copywriting references, the onboarding flow. That is what lives in git and what gets shipped to other people. - The personal layer is yours and never leaves your machine: content-machine.config.md, creators/ / (profile, style guide, lessons), projects/, published/, oracle-reports/. All gitignored, and the desktop build script refuses to package any of it. What is the 10-step pipeline? 1) Creator Select. Multi-creator by design. It figures out who this run is for and loads their profile, style guide, and content lessons. Everything downstream is scoped to that person. - Onboarding (first run only). Scaffolds the workspace, auto-creates your Notion Vault, connects your sources, and builds your voice guide one of three ways: import a guide you already have, feed it writing samples, or sit for a short voice interview. 2) The Oracle. Two idea engines running in parallel: - Oracle scans what you wrote in the last 7 days across Slack, Notion, Gmail, Linear, and Git, hunting for "spikes," moments where you naturally said something worth expanding. - The Internet Reader scans what the world is saying, pulled only from the source list in your profile (handles, labs, outlets, keyword watchlist), plus a social sweep across Reddit, X, YouTube, Hacker News, and more (thanks /last30days & Matt Van Horn). - Every idea is scored 0 to 10 (POV strength 25%, story potential 25%, emotional intensity 20%, lesson/framework 20%, depth 10%). Everything qualifying gets written to The Vault, a Notion database that is the durable idea bank. 2.5) Research. Before you get interviewed, a research agent builds a sourced brief: - key facts with links - current developments - what has already been said in-market - contrarian angles - open questions only you can answer. 3) Interview Panel. Six interviewer personas (Ferriss, Rogan, Larry King, Stern, Barbaro, Barbara Walters) ask you one question at a time, each chasing a different dimension: tactics, story, core truth, the hidden thing, clarity, emotional depth. It pushes back on vague answers and will not advance until it has 2 to 3 specific stories with real details. 4) Production. Your interview becomes a raw markdown file: stories, core insights, quotable moments, the emotional anchor, surprising reveals, the "so what." Your exact words are preserved. This file is the source of truth for everything that follows. 5) Refinement. Now it drafts, and only now. It must read your style guide, your content lessons, and the spec for the chosen format (LinkedIn post, X thread, long post, playbook, podcast promo, reaction post, article, and so on). 6) Writer's Council. Six reviewers score the draft: Morgan Housel (will this matter in 10 years), Tim Urban (is it confusing), Shaan Puri (would I stop scrolling, plus three alternate hooks), Greg Isenberg (what can someone steal), David Perell (is it personal, observational, playful), and a Slop Detector hunting AI tells. Each gives what's working, what needs work, a fix, and a score. 7) Revision Loop. Under 9/10 goes back around. The smart part: fixes get sorted into editorial (the machine rewrites it itself) and information gaps (only you have the answer), and information gaps route back to the Interview Panel with targeted questions rather than letting the machine make something up. Max 3 editorial cycles. At 9/10 the piece becomes the anchor. 8) Repurposing Engine. One anchor fans out into 10+ derivatives: X article, LinkedIn article, short X posts, short LinkedIn posts, a playbook if there is a framework in it. Each one is written native to its platform with a fresh hook, not cross-posted, and each runs the full council and revision loop to 9/10 on its own. This is the multiplier. 9) Distribution (optional, off by default). UTM tagging, a scheduled publishing queue, CRM capture of every touchpoint, attribution reporting back to pipeline, and marking the Vault row as Published. 10) The Learning Loop, always running. After you approve a piece it diffs your first draft against the final, extracts the pattern, and asks you to confirm it. Confirmed lessons go into content-lessons.md and override the style guide. Once a lesson proves out across a few projects it graduates into the style guide itself. Your first drafts get better over time instead of you re-explaining preferences.
