Her final evening was a beautiful one

Their lives are too short. My Indie’s final morning 💔

Thank heavens for photos and videos. We never forget them but the images in our minds blur a little over the years. A photo can sharpen and bring back memories ... happy and sad ones.

It may sound crazy but I loved Kes as if she were one of my own Border Collies because Dad was kind enough to share her daily life with us here. Am I right that it’s 1 year tomorrow? I have the image in my photo memories that I posted where the collar is raised to become a halo❤️

She was a beautiful dog too, a lovely peaceful evening with you in the garden. Lovely.

I’m not ashamed to say, I cried for Kes when she passed. I shed tears for a dog I never knew or even met. I still get moved seeing her again. 😢😢😢

Kes. So LOVED every minute of her life. When I see you dad and when I see Bess I still think of Kes. She is part of you. Sending much love to all. ❤️🐾💔❤️

I had only got to know Kes a few weeks before this happened and I loved following her stories, but it really affected me, it seemed to happen so quickly. She reminded me of my collie, now also not with us, just a wise old soul and a quick collie wit! 💔💖
