Oh my god. Yeri and Seulgi talked about the car accident they were in back in October 2016, shortly after they came back with Russian Roulette. They were actually going to Lotte World together, but because it was Halloween period, the traffic was very bad, so they ended up only taking a selfie with a zombie and headed back to their dorm via taxi. While in the taxi, the accident occurred when the taxi was taking a curve, and since Seulgi and the taxi driver was on the inner curve, they only suffered minor injuries. However, since Yeri was on the outside, she flung(?!) towards the front and suffered a (RATHER SERIOUS) injury to her eye!!! She said her sclera (white part of the eye) turned completely red, and it bled down to her mouth. Seulgi also said that Yeri's eyeball actually went in (her eye socket) a bit.. Then Yeri shared that she was contemplating a lot whether she should do surgery or not, but eventually chose not to do it and to just "live with it." Yeri also shared that she was hospitalised for a long time to receive treatment, to the point where she got so depressed. 😔 Yeri joked that she went to the amusement park to see zombies but she became a zombie herself 😭 and also said that even though the news reported it as a "minor accident," it wasn't so minor for her as she was injured so badly, and that both Seulgi and her had a bit of a trauma to cars after that... Since then, Yeri said that she's been living while seeing floaters, and that they said that there's nothing they can do about it.... 🥲 Please don't be hurt anymore, Yerim ah 🫂

She had been talking to him for days; easy conversations, good vibes, nothing felt off. When they finally met, the date was exactly what you’d hope for: great dinner, respectful, attentive, a total gentleman. At the end of the night, they went their separate ways… until he called saying he lost his keys and couldn’t reach his roommate. Feeling bad, she invited him over. They talked for a while, everything still seemed normal. Eventually, she said goodnight and went to her room; but something in her gut told her to lock the door. Around 3 a.m., he knocked, asking for a phone charger. She told him there was one in the kitchen. Minutes later, he knocked again, insisting it didn’t work and asking if she had one inside. That’s when her instincts screamed something wasn’t right. Instead of opening the door, she quietly called the police. When officers arrived, she heard shouting… then silence. They told him to come out; he was being taken into custody. When she finally stepped out of her room, her stomach dropped. Parts of her apartment had been covered in plastic… and there were power tools laid out. Sometimes everything can *look* perfect on the surface, but intuition picks up on what logic can’t yet explain. That decision to lock the door, and to trust that uneasy feeling—may have saved her life. Not every situation is dangerous, but ignoring red flags can be. Have you ever had a gut feeling about someone that didn’t make sense at the time; but later proved you were right?

A hungry fox had a squirrel trapped with nowhere to run. It looked like the chase was over. But just as the fox got close enough to attack, it suddenly stopped. The squirrel was pregnant, and instead of going after her, the fox backed away and curled up nearby in the freezing cold. A girl who had been watching couldn’t believe what she had just seen. Feeling sorry for the hungry fox, she offered it a piece of bread. The fox gently took it from her hand and then surprised her even more by following her all the way home. She went inside and brought out some chicken, which the fox quickly ate before disappearing. The next day, it came back. But this time, it had something in its mouth — an old, worn-out soccer ball. The fox dropped the ball near the girl and stood there watching her, almost as if it had brought her a gift. From that day on, the fox became a regular visitor. The girl left food out for it, and over time, the skinny little fox grew healthier and stronger. Then one day, it showed up with another fox. She was covered in scars and looked like she’d had a rough life in the wild. The two were incredibly close, always resting together and gently grooming each other. The girl welcomed them both and continued looking after them. Then one morning, she noticed something moving beneath her backyard deck. Tiny fox pups began popping their heads out one after another. The foxes had chosen her yard as the place where they felt safe enough to raise their babies. So the girl decided to make the backyard even more comfortable for the new family. The hungry fox she once met on a freezing day had finally found a place where it felt safe, cared for, and welcome. If this story touched your heart, leave a like. ❤️

This is one of my very favourite videos of Liz. It captures her doing the thing that gave her the most joy. Liz was a shy person by nature, but behind a camera she was relaxed, dynamic and in control. I loved watching her take photos and could do it for hours. Liz’s dream was to become a professional photographer. This shoot arranged by Richard Heathcote and Gareth Cattermole was an experience she spoke about every day for the remainder of her life. She knew exactly what she wanted her shots to look like, and definitely gave far more banter than she was given. It isn’t an exaggeration to say that her relationship with both these photographers changed her world. They gave her the confidence to believe in herself and to follow her heart. They treated her as a true photographer - that meant everything to her. Liz was kind, funny, generous and stubborn. She had amazing ideas and loved being taught how to execute them. She should have had a lifetime to hone her craft. Instead on Wednesday of this week she went to sleep for the final time. Not content with leaving her photographs for the world to enjoy, Liz has left her body to medical science. She is determined that others in the future will be able to live out their dreams, that better treatments for Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumour will be found. Please help her to achieve that by donating, sharing, liking or commenting: Together we can make sure others have the future that Liz deserved.
