Regarding the bathroom issue, I would like to explain: this type of non-standard room is usually illegally modified by the landlord on the original house structure, so it is impossible to build a bathroom within a 70 square foot area, so the bathroom is likely to be shared by 3-5 rooms. For a price of $650, living in this place in New York is actually very attractive if you are single.
