Doctor saves life of woman who had cardiac arrest when she came to vote in #Bengaluru. Dr Ganesh Srinivasa Prasad, a Nephrologist at Narayana Health Centre, Bommasandra, was waiting patiently for his turn to vote at Jumbo Savari Dinne in JP Nagar 8th Phase when a woman in her fifties came to drink water from a can near the queue of voters around 9 am. She suddenly started falling when the Dr & another person in queue caught her. The Dr told TNIE, "I checked her pulse and found it was very low. There was an uprolling of eyes. Many have asked why I have been so silent these past weeks. I'm heartbroken to say my beautiful, darling wife passed away on Thursday. She had held my heart in her hand from the first moment I saw her and we shared 36 wonderful years together. She had bravely battled cancer with courage and fortitude for many years yet still never lost the ability to light up a room with her beautiful smile, her wonderful sense of humour and her laughter. Not once did she give up the hope for life. I truely believe there is more to this existence than we know and that one day we shall be reunited by our love for each other, a love that was so honest and so real and so true. Until then I shall hold her tightly in my heart. When my daughter and I returned home from the hospital a red rose had appeared in our garden. It was right outside our door and had appeared from nowhere in a clump of dry weeds. Red roses were my wife’s favorite flower. She wore 3 in her hair at our wedding and carried a bouquet of red roses. I had asked her to send me a sign before she passed to say she was ok. It must have been sent by her. You will stay forever in my heart until we are together again my darling ❤️

This was an inflection point for me yesterday when I became a part of Paramhansa Yoganada Charitable Trust in Vrindavan - an organisation working for the welfare of the widows Visiting there made me realise that there is no definition of “enough” for each one of us in life. Being content is the primary goal for me at least Having a good house to live and basic needs fulfilled, will try my best to parlay my trading gains for the lives of others. as a fan, i’m so happy belle has friendships outside of showbiz that have stood the test of time. hearing her share that there was a point in her life when she’d cry in the bathtub while going through a difficult season broke my heart. she may not have talked about it much, but knowing she went through that is painful enough. i’m so grateful bilie was there beside her. thank you for being that best friend. belley and bilie forever 🤍

The other night I was home alone and turned the dryer on before I went to bed… there was a blockage of lint on the external line (I had even just cleaned it recently 🤯) and it started smoking, and the dog I rescued from the shelter alerted me at 2am and saved my house from catching on fire. As of today, he has had a cheeseburger everyday since in gratitude of his protection of our home. The person that had him before thought he was worthless, but to me Jack’s is priceless. ❤️🐶

CINCINNATI (WKRC) — A local woman was arrested after she allegedly abandoned an elderly man she was caring for. Iyanna Casey, an employee of Total Homecare Solutions, allegedly left her patient by himself for an entire night in an apartment on Camvic Terrace in Cheviot on July 8. When another staff member found him in the morning, he was reportedly lying on the floor in soiled clothes.

I know a lot seems bad in the world and Twitter in general seems like a dark place but this little story will brighten your day. I organized a dog walk a couple of weeks ago in New York when visiting. I asked if someone would bring a shelter dog along we could try re-home. This is Bubba Cranberry who came along. He was very shy and wary of other dogs so he had to stay at the back. I had to meet him quietly. He was lovely. Cranberry had been in the shelter for nearly a year. Nobody wanted him… (1/3) 🧵
