Is not guessing, game already one tells you if you find yourself in a dead end, check for hidden walls. Another is the enemy placement, you see that people accidentally shoot up and hit the ceiling, it also already trap you between 3 room cant go anywhere else.

so the game puts a enemy right where the hidden walls is making it impossible to miss
