Shiny rates on giga max were shit too

Bro you could not have worded this any better. It was a massive cash grab hinged on FoMo. I had some fun hanging out with our community but the in-game was incredibly boring and expensive.

I also feel that a wild shiny boost would've been nice. With this 'increased chance to find DMAX pokemon near spots bonus', I didn't find ANY across the weekend. Wild Dynamax 1* or 3* raid pokemon would've made this event way more interesting, it felt strange.

Being lower than a Slaking made me laugh, the all mighty 😂

Honestly what could’ve been cool after defeating Eternatus would be a random gmax encounter, I would’ve been more inclined to do more etern battlers, you’ve defeated Eternatus, he has left a Gigantamax Charizard in his place.. sounds broken but would be more fun

yupppp as a rural player this event was so bad.

I didn’t research the event beforehand and once I realized how many Eternamax battles I had to do to power it up I stopped. Partially because I got a bad one but I wasn’t enjoying it and the cost was more than I wanted to spend. I had fun doing the other Gigantamax battles though

Totally agree with what you are saying. And while I understand that it is a special Pokemon somehow I cannot understand (besides the obvious: money) why it needs 8900 (XL) candies . Plus just getting one candy at the final levels of the PAID pass seems greedy af

Eternatus with no BG…🤣😂🤣

There’s been such an obvious change in the game over the last few years and this event was the pinnacle of the changes so far.. ££££££££££££££

Between work & caring for my aging mother, I was not able to play enough to get Eternatus. I played Go to help cope with depression, but not being able to get Eternatus, despite playing as much as I could just made it worse. 😞

With the lore that Eternatua is so powerful that it can cause regular Pokémon to become Dynamax, how about a random d.max or g.max encounter after battling Eternatus? Or random d.max & g.max Pokémon spawning in the wild around the eternatus battle power spots?

Sucked! Never wanted to play less under an event as this 🤷‍♀️

Agreed. The worst part for me were times when the app crashed sometimes DURING a Gigantamax raid so loosing the encounter altogether. Especially coz getting the numbers to even do those raids was hard enough on its own.

I remember the first weeks after the news came out that Scopely was gonna take over. The RR limit changed for example, it gave hope to the playerbase that things where about to change for the better….. guess I and everyone else was wrong. Paywall after paywall.

I wanted to stop after powering up to level 40. I got sucked into the euphoria 😂

🎯 absolutely nailed it! It was an unnecessarily expensive weekend and in-person max particle collection should have been unlimited!

I was honestly happy. I went in understanding that it was about eternatus only for max battles and candy for the crowned wolves. I only bought the deluxe pass. Nothing else. I ended up having max particles left over when it ended.

Only thing I agree with is instead of no encounter, we should have gotten a random Gigantamax encounter, that way we can get more candy for other Pokemon. Everything else was fine, nothing wrong with waiting to power up Eternatus if you're only F2P

Thanks for sharing this one fam. It was crazy how they executed the event. And even though compared to normal XL candy drop this was a lot but the amount was too small for some you had to gain 8,900 candies plus some more for its Max moves.

My friend spent $600 to max his out with a second move. I absolutely agree with you. Thank for for speaking and hopefully they hear and consider this going forward. He's in real-estate so just a drop in the bucket for him but most that's alot.

Shiny boost was a scam

Ability to play increased with remotes. Downsides were: particles were limited and costly, remote passes are STILL too expensive, Eternatus took remote passes and didn't give any encounters, Those of us with 2*Sadternatus had no reason to play those raids, background too rare.

I didn’t even claim my eternatus cause I live in a rural area so it was hard to find enough players even with the remote rauds to do them. And it was expensive.

As a Community Ambassador, I organize the local events for my community. I really felt like this should've been with GO Fest (which I felt was mid)....and this watered down event to get more money. My people made it a great event, in game was lame imho.
