It is not funny that MPs are being asked to finish their speech on a Bill within only 1 minute!! Dr. M. Thambidurai was, quite literally, left speechless. #RajyaSabha is debating the Bankers Book Evidence Bill, which was passed within 4 minutes in Lok Sabha last week, without any debate. Today, as RS takes it up, Opposition MPs are not participating (probably they walked out). Earlier when a DMK MP was speaking on the Bill, she was stopped midway and her mic cut off as she tried to raise opposition's demand on other issues. Now, only MPs from NDA parties are participating in debate and even they are asked to wrap up within 1-2 minutes. Law making in #Parliament has become a joke!
