The Place Beyond The Pines is such a beautiful film- nearly every frame in this movie is picturesque. Culturally, I think this film flies under the radar a little, which might be because this is a long movie that meanders a little in the last third. But this film absolutely has its moments- including the very real on-screen chemistry between Ryan Gosling & Eva Mendes.

Jaws turns 50 this year. I’m seeing this film in IMAX in about an hour here at The Grove in Los Angeles. Best way to spend a Sunday. Best way to spend Labor Day Weekend. I’ve never had an opportunity to see this film on such a big screen so excitement is an understatement.
