DEVELOPING: The Social Reckoning is reportedly going through reshoots as we speak, which is a worrisome sign for the film’s October release. Aaron Sorkin is in Vancouver leading the reshoots & the film is reportedly no longer premiering at the Venice Film Festival. I hope I’m wrong because I want this film to succeed and love every actor involved, but this is a concern & a bad sign.

The Place Beyond The Pines is such a beautiful film- nearly every frame in this movie is picturesque. Culturally, I think this film flies under the radar a little, which might be because this is a long movie that meanders a little in the last third. But this film absolutely has its moments- including the very real on-screen chemistry between Ryan Gosling & Eva Mendes.
