I present to you all an alternative to the overly congested Cross-Bronx Expressway: the Cross-Bronx Train Line (CBx), which would go from Bay Plaza, to Manhattan, and finally end across the GW Bridge in New Jersey. This would be the first line connecting the Bronx from east to west, and would dramatically improve the lives of everyday commuters. This is the first in a series I'm doing called "A New Deal for the Bronx."

'Rudrastra' was successfully run from Ganjkhwaja station of DDU Division. This freight train was about 4.5 km long, which is the longest freight train of Indian Railways. China continues to amaze A new maglev train in China, capable of reaching speeds of up to 600 km/h, has been unveiled. The development was carried out by CRRC Changchun. If everything goes according to plan, it will be a true "airplane on rails" — the fastest train in the world. Currently, China's maglev trains reach a maximum of 430 km/h and have been in operation since 2004. The new express is planned to run between the country's largest cities.

East China port launches first Arctic shipping route to Europe The Ningbo-Zhoushan Port in the eastern province of Zhejiang launched its first China-Europe Arctic container express route on Monday, marking the first time the port has extended a route to the Arctic Ocean. The new route crosses directly to Europe via the Northeast Arctic passage, slashing the transit time from Zhoushan Port to Britain's Felixstowe Port to just 18 days. This is significantly faster than the China-Europe freight train (about 25 days), the Suez Canal route (about 40 days), and the Cape of Good Hope route (about 50 days). The route's maiden voyage is set to reach Felixstowe on Oct. 10. The shipment includes a mix of goods such as daily necessities, clothing, spare machinery parts, as well as high-value items like energy storage cabinets and power batteries. Once in Felixstowe, these goods will be distributed across Europe, according to local customs authorities in Ningbo.
