In Gaza, we no longer count the price of food, but rather how much life we have left to fight hunger. The price of a kilo of sugar? It's like gold. Rice? For those who can afford it. Tomatoes, pasta, flour? Numbers unbearable for a hungry person. In the end, all we have left is water and salt. We put salt in the water... and drink, not to quench our thirst, but to convince our bodies that we are still alive. The price of a human being here has become "zero"...
