Here in Imo State, we are building a workable and dynamic system that will not only serve the people of the State and residents but also offer long term services, hence the Imo State Social Benefits Number (IMSSBN).

During my meeting with the Traditional Rulers and Community Leaders, I hinted at the numerous intervention programs and incentives lined up from the State and Federal Government to cushion the economic effects of post-subsidy removal.

Our proactivity in policy formulations is propelled by our commitment to make life more meaningful to Ndi Imo. I therefore, appealed to our revered leaders for their continued support to the Government's policies on economy, security and otherwise.

I took time to analyse a security model which places the Traditional Rulers as the Chief Security Officers of their communities. Working together with all relevant stakeholders and the youths, we expect a watertight security in our State.

Obviously, the State security agencies will continue to provide statutory coverage as we aim to secure our State for the safety of all, even as we go about our various legitimate engagements. - Hope Uzodimma
