Y'all know I don't post things just to start drama but things like this are frustrations and miscues you're seeing with the offense this year. I didn't see this on the broadcast but after a screen to Kittle, there's something off about what Deebo did. Kyle is up around the 40 to the right so Deebo is talking to someone else on the sideline, who's getting after him. The whole process of putting together the "I hate cowboys" record and the "go down singin'" record was a long two years of figuring out how do something I've never done before. All the songs were written on guitar and a depth I haven't really hit before. This is the final piece of that puzzle. "The fireside sessions" are both those albums together, all acoustic, featuring the songwriters from both those records. This time in my career ends with both album covers together with me and my dad standing next to each other. It's the first time I've ever been able to see a picture of us as two grown men. I'm moving on to another album early next year, but I hope y'all love these versions of the songs, as they were written. The bluebird last night was a special way to celebrate the ending of these last two years, and the start of something new👏🏼

I can't believe how good this turned out. Recently, I put out my first physics paper proposing that life and the universe might be the result of a law governing how oscillators sync up and couple together. I find it beautiful, awe-inspiring, and deeply meaningful. It aligns with how I have always seen the world. It suggests that there is an arrow of negative entropy, a law governing how life forms in all of its complexity. Learning about it is intimidating. Saw this today and it honestly broke me a little. This man was sitting on the curb with a small food container, clearly not much. Right next to him was his dog, wrapped in a little blanket, lying on a makeshift bed. The guy opens his meal, takes a few bites… and then without even thinking twice, he feeds his dog from the same box. You could tell it wasn’t just “a pet.” That dog was family. They looked at each other with that kind of trust that you can’t fake. It’s crazy how people with the least often give the most. No phone out for attention, no crowd watching, just a quiet moment between two souls surviving together. I don’t know their story, but I know love when I see it. And this right here, this is love.

Kitten update #8: The kitties are back home! Everyone is getting very strong and active now. I forgot to take their weights this morning so I'll have to do it before the next feeding, but I'm confident everyone is continuing to gain. We started adding in some wet food today. I mixed up a slurry with some of the formula and stuck it in a syringe with a nipple on it. Nobody took to it right away except gray tuxedo, who loved it, but everyone else got some squirted in while they were chewing on the milk nipple and then they loved it. Well, except for dark tortie, which is a little ironic since she is by far the biggest little monster of the litter, but I guess she's done so well on the formula she's not interested in making a change yet. Butts are all looking SO much better now that I stopped using the wet wipes. However, we have now started to have some concerns about little to no pooping. Dark tortie hasn't pooped for 24 hours so I eliminated the yogurt from the formula and am crossing my fingers for some action before the end of the day or back to the vet she goes. I don't know how long they'll let me play with their tummies like this but it sure is fun for now!
