I'm not sure why people aren't thinking about automation. A lot of jobs that come back will likely be taken by machines. But that will still lead to more industry here working on the machines as well as transporting materials etc.

If there are no ILLEGALS to work in manufacturing in the US, then they will have to pay AMERICAN CITIZENS to do the job. These will be good paying career jobs. The ambitious will move up. Those happy with the wage and job will work until they retire. Same as was 50 years ago.

Screwing little screws into an iPhone obviously requires more talent than being a U.S. representative. As evidence, I could offer numerous examples of members of Congress by name, including Mr. Kinzinger, but I don’t wish to be rude. Further, employers can get Americans to do any job in which the salary provides them with the means to make a comfortable living. Adam is a fake conservative who is now employed as an overpaid senior political analyst at CNN. I think Adam made about $174K annually as a U.S. representative. I have no idea how much CNN pays him for a job he seems to have no qualifications for, except that he hates President Trump, but the talentless Kinzinger isn’t worth a single penny more than the guy skilled at screwing in little screws.
