She was in the process of taking this photo when a woman starts to yell at her about how she can’t work without looking out the window and seeing the young lady hanging onto the guard rail for a pose. She expressed she was worried she was going to fall. The young lady was more interested that the woman owns a magazine than she was about her own safety, she then proceeds to call her a Karen for their interaction. To me it seems like she was voicing honest concern, she wasn’t trying to cause an issue and it was in fact the actions of the young lady that was the cause of the distraction for those in the city that day. What is your take on this, was this a valid concern on the lady’s behalf?

A young man has shared how he narrowly avoided being scammed by a Nigerian young lady. According to him, the young lady claimed she needed money for transportation to Tarkwa. Out of goodwill, he sent her to the station to personally pay for her fare. However, upon arrival, she suddenly said she could not travel as she was waiting for her sister. Realizing she was lying and attempting to scam him, the young man left her. He added that he has encountered similar attempts to scam him on three previous occasions.

Please understand that schools have rules, and this was in no way innocent. It was embarrassing, especially because her mother saw nothing wrong with it. The sad part? A lot of people saw nothing wrong either, saying, “Let her have her moment.” There is a time and place for everything. Graduation is meant to celebrate years of hard work, achievement, and respect for the occasion. You can have your moment without turning the ceremony into a spectacle.
