Here is more then 200 vehicles synced in cyberpunk multiplayer, working perfectly... imagine the potential with the servers rp and so on! Even in Cfx/FiveM you cannot do this 😱

@FiveM fivem has 600 player count servers without bots, wdym lol

@FiveM there is a huge limit in entities spawn and you are forced to use bucket instances in most of the times

@ommpyomp @FiveM You do realize cyberpunk movement and mechanics don’t don’t even nearly equal gta 5 and that game came out 13 years ago lmao plus gta 6 online is bound to set the standard in Rp the way Fivem did… OP is a nothingburger.

@ommpyomp @FiveM i agree! gta 6 RP will be pretty great, but cyberpunk is amazing and the roleplay is potentially quite different and can bring cool experiences

@FiveM This mod is only making progress because of AI slop, also what would there be to even do in a Cyberpunk multiplayer/RP? You get to drive around, open doors, shoot, and melee? There's nothing interesting to interact with

AI is the present & future, we're making progress because we are an hard working team 😁 and obviously we are using AI but we are experienced engineers as well with 15 years of dev experience. Please check more in depth you will see that we have way more then just drive around and melee!

@FiveM Is the end game to make it like gta online with free roam activities etc ? Or RP

@FiveM both are doable

@FiveM Nice I really can’t wait to see its release

@FiveM ai slop

@FiveM damn, we got caught..

@FiveM okay gpt please make the background color blue

@FiveM Sorry, you're session is out of tokens, please recharge your API.

@FiveM alr that was a good one

@FiveM CYBERPUNK RP WOULD GO SO HARD

@FiveM That’s just cars going around nothing else now add all the features RP server have and more than half won’t be able to connect / sync

@FiveM challenge accepted! but actually its way more then just cars going around, proving the physics of the engine feasibility in multiplayer is a huge part of the deal. rest is way easier to be honest 💪

@FiveM Unlike everyone else, I’m actually excited to see how far this goes, as a Cyberpunk Fan I support this a shit ton.

what about quick hacks? Like player capacity is awesome but I guess the main reason its taken so long to even have a show of concept is the stuff like quick-hacks, sandevistans and other world altering perks.

here is an example on how we do it multiplayer

@FiveM Why the hell is there so much hate in the comments? It looks very promising! Good work, keep going!

@FiveM Interesting

@FiveM pretty obvious gpt made this, improve the ui because gpt still not good at that

@FiveM Our platform let everyone create their own online experiences / servers with their own UX/UI - basically this is just a freeroam sample

@FiveM Are you trying to imply that dozens of clones running on your local network (if they're even actually running on a network) will translate into a smooth experience with players from all over the world? Come on, even the character in the middle of the screen isn't moving smoothly.

@FiveM yes they are running on a network, and actually it is on a dedicated server, a smooth experience with players all around the world is not possible. You need to pick a server near your own area, the character is bit laggy because there is a lot of vehicles displayed but still ok.

@FiveM This is super cool, any chance of a 2-4 player coop or is that way outa reach?

@FiveM definitely possible tho! basically we give a sandbox with many natives functions accessible for anyone wanting to build an unique multiplayer experience, it's not necessary only RP definitely doable with your friends. but gotta find someone to do it 😄

@FiveM u can lol

@FiveM arrêter avec vos serv rp de merde

@FiveM tu as raison, alors faisons aussi des serveurs de courses, de combat a mort, de pvp..

@FiveM very cool

@FiveM My Tamagotchi just evolved into a cyberpunk traffic cop after reading this, now it’s issuing tickets to lag spikes.

@FiveM Rp would be dog shit on this

@FiveM Every clip I see of this looks like utter dogshit

@FiveM Uh huh

@FiveM You can literally do that in 5M. Fym

@FiveM Who's heading the project?

@FiveM This is hilarious, FiveM RP servers are complex with thousands of systems running simultaneously the scope is widely different comparing them is lazy bait. Look this is obviously a nice project but that’s just bad faith “advertising”

@FiveM Shit driving physics though 🥲

@FiveM fixable! cyberpunk has a huge modding community and a lot of customization.. actually bunch of mods are available to change the way you drive your vehicle, and good news. it is completely compatible with open77 - server can require specific custom mods when you connect.

@FiveM Yes, but these are all in the same location? What happens when you have multiple hundreds of other entities scattered around a whole map? You're bound to hit a d-sync wall at some point.

@FiveM It's actually was easier when everything is around the map, because you have radius that hide what's not in your line of sight!

@FiveM That's not how networking works. If d-sync happens, it's serverwide, no client side rendering is going to fix that.

@FiveM @grok can you explain him how optimisation of network transport with distance in multi-player games works to and why it's harder with all the players at the same place

In multiplayer games servers apply distance-based interest management: each client only gets entity updates inside its relevance radius. Spread-out players receive sparse traffic and bandwidth stays low. When all players cluster in one spot their areas fully overlap, so every client must receive nearly every update. Traffic then scales roughly with the square of player count, raising load, lag and desync risk. Client rendering cannot shrink the packets the server has to transmit.

@joaoogarcez @FiveM 🫡

@joaoogarcez @FiveM 🫡 Happy it clarified the interest management scaling. Dense clusters remain the toughest bandwidth case for any multiplayer setup.

@FiveM Why so much hate 🫤, keep up the good work 🫶🏼
