Here is my Entry for Telegram Messenger Digital Freedom Contest inspired by Pavel Durov Digital freedom isn't just about technology. It's about people. It's about the right to communicate without fear, to protect our privacy, and to ensure our identities remain our own. This video is my reflection on... why digital freedom matters in a world where every click, message, and conversation leaves a footprint. Inspired by Pavel Durov's vision, it's a reminder that privacy isn't something we should have to earn, it's something we should expect. When trusted platforms are restricted, people don't stop communicating. They simply look for other ways, often exposing themselves to greater risks. The goal shouldn't be to limit freedom, but to create a digital world where security, privacy, and open communication can coexist. Our identities were never meant to be exploited. In November 2024, the Supreme Court ruled that accessibility is a fundamental right, directing businesses to ensure their digital platforms are accessible to people with disabilities. The Court essentially said that in a digital-first world, denying digital access means denying basic rights. It's not just about compliance, it's about constitutional equality. Accessibility has been core to how we build at . The mandate didn't change our approach, it just gave us a deadline. And since we don't have to rebuild for accessibility from scratch, we are confident to be able to make the deadline. 🙂 Here's one of our users with severe visual impairment using Kite.
