Sadly the aluminum would break down at the billons of oscillations per second required . Also we’d need A LOT of energy to do it

It is less about the energy input and more about the synchronous oscillation of qiuntillions of atoms. Don't get me wrong the voltages have to be really high, but it is the coherent interference pattern of that many wave sources that creates the effect.
