This is even more impressive: the day after, this is now what a $45-a-night hotel suite looks like in China. We're in a Nihao hotel in the city of Korla, Xinjiang. Nihao hotels (你好酒店) is positioned as a design budget hotel chain in China: it's meant to be affordable for the average Chinese consumer but with a modern trendy design. I think you'll agree the value for money is pretty extraordinary. My guess is that if these new hotel chains that are now popping up in China (Nihao was just founded in 2019) ever internationalize, Marriott and Hilton are going to have a very hard time explaining why their rooms cost five times as much...
