Here is my very simple bay window tutorial for WoW Housing. I put my windows in a closet and then added plants inside it. It’s the easiest way to start playing with building out windows imo.

Keeping it simple, as it’s done kumusha. I boiled the chicken for a few hours, then added to my pot of fried tomatoes and shallots with a bit of salt and wow, if only you could you smell & taste it!

A TRUE Windows phone! When I was out in Las Vegas for CES a few weeks back, I had the privilege of playing around with NexPhone, which triple boots Android, Linux, and full Windows 11 👀 What made it cooler was the custom Windows Phone skin they made.

For my visionOS 3.0 wishlist: The ability to place windows on a flat surface by long pressing the window bar. I often manually place my windows on walls because it’s a lot more fun to control them with haptic feedback—it’s like having a giant tablet that you can really feel. But come on, Apple, I want to place these windows on my table too! I could totally see my desk surface becoming a giant touch interface. How cool would that be?! #VisionPro

My girlfriend mocked the lack of a WC in my #WoWHousing bathroom area, so naturally I ruined my sleep routine to install a marble, cushioned, fully functional one for her elf to park. Then I accidentally redesigned the entire room (and added an aquarium). Housing is sick. #wow

I've always loved the way Tesla gives you an option to close all four windows on lock. I bet every single one of us has forgotten to close a window in the past and knows how it annoying it is to go back in the car, turn on the ignition, THEN close the windows. Tesla software does so many amazing little things that improve your quality of life.

THIS GUY BUILT A FULLY FUNCTIONAL WINDOWS XP SIMULATION AS HIS PERSONAL WEBSITE it started as a simple XP-themed site and turned into a full simulation draggable windows, start menu, taskbar, Winamp music player. the whole thing you can actually click around, open programs, drag windows, play games, and use it like a real desktop this is the kind of creativity you need when building a personal site to show off your portfolio

💾 Okay I finally bought a Raspberry Pi 5 to make into a real retro computer as a proof of concept I love the Raspberry Pi much more than my ESP32 simply because I can SSH into it and it's just like a normal computer or server, the ESP32 required specific software to re-flash it everytime and it was TEDIOUS!!!! I need a fast feedback loop to develop with so all this flashing is too slow for me The Raspberry Pi 5 instead just runs Linux which then runs DOSBox-X to run Windows 3.11 install live downloaded from there so it stays fresh I then also got a Checkmate 19" IPS Retro Monitor by Stephen Jones (very indie and Kickstarter-style product) which is like a vintage retro PC monitor but with an OLED and it runs at 1280x1024, and the Raspberry Pi 5 has HDMI out so it works perfectly with it Then I got an 8BitDo retro IBM keyboard, but the spacebar broke, so I gotta send it back and get a new one, but it was great while it worked, so it's not in this video, and I got the 8BitDo retro mouse So altogether it's a proof of concept of a real vintage retro PC with internet and it works now My end goal is to make this into production and SELL it, not for money but more for fun because I think it should exist, just like Palmer Luckey's ModRetro Chromatic Gameboy-remake I'd go with something smaller than this 19" checkmate display though, it's great but too big for the Windows 3.11 era I think, more like 14" with a matching sized retro IBM-style keyboard and Windows 3.11 preinstalled (if legally allowed by Satya Nadella) with WiFi working out of the box We could also go with Windows 98/XP, because for me too Windows 3.11 was a very short time, so I too have vague memories of it, most of my computing memories is Windows 98/XP etc. Inside it could simply run on a Raspberry Pi 5 like here, which is easily powerful enough to run all of these OS'es I see many SF founders with Apple II's in their living room, and I guess cause Apple was more popular there back then, but in the rest of the world we were mostly IBM PCs and clones that ran Windows, so it's cool to have that as one retro object working with internet in your living room Anyway, step by step, we're here now 😊

Today... 50% of aircraft windows fail when installed." - "Embraer announced the smart window in their Praetor 600. They've taken out one of the windows in the aft part of the cabin and instead they put a digital screen." "You can make that screen look outside because there are cameras outside. In flight, you can make it day, you can make it night." "We'll get to the point where we eliminate passenger windows, and it won't be long after that where we'll get rid of the cockpit windows."

This is by far the best 3DGS scan of my kitchen. I love how the light reflects on my dining room table from the bay windows. I still struggle to be able to deal with the high dynamic range between the inside and outside though. The windows are overexposed which means you can't see anything outside well. Does anyone have a good solution to this? Shoot raw and globally adjust? I would love to share notes with anyone working on this challenge at #CVPR2026 #3DGS #ComputerVision
