My father’s last too. Battalion 6 chief John Williamson (wearing Scott Pack) he led north battalion command outside building. He directed arriving assets and later evacuation after fall of tower 2. He held his position and was killed when north tower was brought down.

Chris York’s footage on 9/11 is truly incredible. It’s been recently restored by project Between Two Towers. He’s on the rooftop pool of the Liberty Court tower with his family, 44 stories up. The north tower is struck, he begins filming the entire situation from 500 above the street and 500 feet below the tower strike. But at the 52 second mark, the south tower is struck by flight 175 traveling 550mph. You can feel the blast through this footage.
