GM Daniil Dubov received an award for "the best attacking combination", for his game against Anish Giri in the 2022 Rapid and Blitz Championship. The award was established in memory of Galimulla Saydenov, one of the founders of the Kazakhstan Chess Federation. During the event, Dubov gave a simultaneous exhibition to 20 young chess players. The outcome of several games was unexpected: 10-year-old Ahmet Suleiman, 11-year-old Vladimir Savitsky and 14-year-old Mansur Khasenov (rating 1524) won their games!
