⚡️JUST IN: In UAE, A Journalist was forced to cover the word Palestine which was written on her outfit because it would make passengers feel “uncomfortable” Testimony from Leyla Hamed: At Zayed International airport in Abu Dhabi: I was approached by an employee accompanied by military men 4 times after I went through security control for “random checks”. In the end, they “asked” me to either remove or cover my Palestine t-shirt. She said the reason was because the logo was written in Arabic (it literally says Palestine) and it was not allowed at the airport. Then she said it could make other airport passengers feel “uncomfortable”.
