How is Benn not suspended for this?

Benn, and Dallas as a whole has been taking cheap shots all series. Myers elbow to Zucarello's chin, Benn's slewfoot on Boldy, Benn's crosscheck to the back of Boldy's head and this one. Notice how I don't include the hit on Trenin.......because that was a clean hit.

That's the 2nd crosscheck to the head perpetrated by the Stars in this series; I'm beginning to think someone is paid to turn a blind eye to this behavior.

@RussoHockey This is hilarious and insane. I'll never understand why certain players are allowed to frequently walk that line and others are held accountable by DOPS. Also, we all know if Hartman happened to be injured by this the ruling would be drastically different, which is asinine.

The fact the Benn is a captain for any nhl team is embarrassing, but I guess Marchand was and he’s just as dirty a piece of 💩 Your captain needs to erm it, and character matters. Notice Ovi didn’t get handed the captaincy, he earned it. Benn is not a leader, he’s a punk.

The Stars were doing this last year against colorado too, Hintz took high shots on the back of the head of mackinnon

@Steve_Dangle I have the real explanation. Hartman put his head where Ben’s stick was going to be. We are now review whether Hartman should be suspended for viciously head butting Ben’s stick.

@Steve_Dangle Not only does he cross check him in the neck, he then falls on him driving him into the ice. If he sustained a head/neck injury on the play and then was driven into the ice by a big body, it could be life threatening. No place for this shit.

Matthews deserved a suspension and Benn deserves one here… unfortunately the NHL seems to shorten suspensions and reduce disciplinary action in playoffs

@RussoHockey Not only did Benn not get assessed a major and/or get suspended, but Hartman got the minor penalty too for a clean hit in the same sequence.
