Yes I noticed this. I thought when I first heard it that it was a variations on a theme sort of a composition, slightly reminiscent of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Variations album.

Don’t listen to this in the car. I made that mistake on the first listen and couldn’t hear the melody because the percussion overwhelmed it with the road noise. Also - I have the Apple download that has 12 tracks. Listened to it loads of times since. Brilliant.

Very interesting, tho' the finished result is somewhat duller than this short illustrative briefing I'm afraid; what's been loudly billed as a blazing & triumphant return to full-on Prog (not necessarily by Steven himself, note) turns out to be a bit of a proverbial damp squib...
