here it is: Eric Adams asked live on MSNBC about how many non-students were arrested at Columbia Adams gets flustered then says it was...TWO individuals he refuses to name them but then references a person that the NYPD already confirmed wasn't arrested & wasn't even there

this is the individual he references, who again wasn't even at the protests and was not even arrested:

It sounded like bullshit the first time it came out of his mouth, too

Sooner or later either pro-Zionists or people who simply don't like left-leaning protests will have to admit and come to terms with this being an organic movement born of passions and genuine concerns. You can't dismiss a passion for social justice and expect it to go away.

@AP did a great job of reporting this. Nahla Al-Arian, 63, told @AP on Wednesday that @NYCMayor misstated both her role in the protests & the facts about her husband, Sami Al-Arian, a former computer engineering professor & prominent Palestinian activist.

So two women in their 60s, one of whom has absolutely no role at all in the protests and who visited last week?

@msolurin he’s doing his best given the training he’s had

I 1000% expected exactly what we got from all the news outlets today, but it somehow still makes me feel a little crazy ugh

@mehdirhasan Any time a politician or pundit is fumbling on live television and says "this is an active and/or evolving situation" it just means their department and PR team is still scrambling to spin the story and had nothing before they went on air.

Man now I'm bummed I blocked the weirdo I was arguing with who was convinced most of the protestors weren't students
