@JamesAHogg2 When I first heard it on Radio 1 in late '75, it was so unlike anything I'd ever heard I literally sat by the radio all day, just waiting to hear it again ... as you did in those days.

@NickyHorne I remember when he first played it on Capital. And again. And again. I was helping my mum in the kitchen and eventually she said “not again!”

I always loved Kenny's cultured, well-elocuted voice. Not a glottal stop, not a slurred syllable anywhere. He might have been banned regularly by Auntie, but never for his speech.

Just before his death in 1991, Freddie Mercury personally approved the use of "Bohemian Rhapsody" in “Wayne's World” (1992) and it made the scene legendary. After the film's release, "Bohemian Rhapsody" shot back up the charts, introducing Queen's music to a new generation.

This ending was insane. 😭 — Will Ospreay hit Kenny Omega with the One-Winged Angel, but Kenny kicked out at 1 and immediately got up. 💀 — Then, Will Ospreay hit Kenny with the Stormbreaker, and Kenny STILL kicked out at 1. He immediately got up again, but his legs finally gave out, and he collapsed to his knees. — Ospreay finally hit him with the Hidden Blade, and that was it—the match was finally over. What an insane ending this was. 🔥😭

Austin Creed once again met a Kenny Omega fan at GalaxyCon wearing one of his shirts. 😭 “Kenny is not here. Trust me, if he was... he would not be standing. You're just making it worse for Kenny. When I see him... I'M PUTTING HIM IN THE DIRT.” IT'S SO HAPPENING IN AEW.

Some bonds go far beyond basketball. During the funeral Mass honoring Louisville legend Kenny Klein, Rick Pitino shared a heartfelt story that perfectly summed up their friendship. Pitino reflected on the countless memories they shared over the years and said the last two years they spent together were among the most meaningful of his coaching career. He recalled a game at Carnesecca Arena, where the area around the scorer’s table became so crowded that Kenny had to move his seat. Before tip-off, Pitino looked over and realized his longtime friend wasn’t sitting beside him like he always was. He immediately called the athletic director and made sure Kenny was brought back to his seat. Pitino joked, “If Kenny isn’t sitting next to me, we’re going to lose.” It was a simple story, but one that spoke volumes about the friendship the two shared. A beautiful tribute to a man who meant so much to so many. ❤️🕊️ REST IN PEACE TO THE GREAT KENNY KLEIN! 🎥 St Raphael Arch Lou

Kenny Dillingham says he hasn’t spoke with Michigan about its coaching vacancy: “In today’s era, I think it’s one of the best jobs in the country and I think everybody can attest to that. That doesn’t change how I feel about here…It’s a great opportunity for somebody.”

Oh man, I had no idea Kenny Rogers sang “The Gambler” with Phish! This was at Bonnaroo in 2012. In interviews, Kenny said Phish came to his dressing room and asked if he would join them onstage for a song, and he said yes. Kenny said Phish was one of those groups he had heard of but didn’t really know, and that it wasn’t until then that he realized how big they were. Kenny had performed his own set earlier that afternoon in one of Bonnaroo’s large tents. Later that night, he joined Phish on the main stage to sing in front of 70,000 people.. Kenny said the last time he had performed for a crowd that big was probably in the mid 80s. So great.

Kenny Dillingham got to the stadium today at 5:15 a.m. ASU's practice ended just before 9:00 p.m. and the lights went out in the middle of Dillingham's presser. Yet Kenny was still as energetic as ever, talking about players getting to live the dream in Tempe. Built different.
