Have absolutely no idea why but listening to pipe bands always moves me to tears. Watching this, my eyes well up but in person, it's embarrassing, I'm almost sobbing.

The sound of the pipes, building in the distance and rising into air.. the honor and pride of the Scots!! Clan Campbell!! Take it back!! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🥃🔥

As a piper of many decades, I can say that was as perfect as it gets. 100 pipes sounding as 1. I've played down the Royal Mile there too. Great memories! Scotland the Brave and Black Bear: classics. Aye...

May y’all find the strength to preserve this beautiful ancient culture.

A brilliant factoid: due to their impact on the battlefield in ww1, the bagpipe is awarded the only title of Instrument of War, because of its power to stir the hearts & minds of men into battle!

We all love the Scots now after the World Cup. ❤️ The USA needs more bagpipes.

Two things happen when I hear the bagpipes - one they always bring tears to my eyes and two I just have no control whatsoever over my feet. It's like they have a life of their own. God bless all bagpipe players.

A thing of beauty ! Not trying to be morbid, but the only thing I tell my wife at my funeral there will be bagpipes. Maybe a bit of Scot in my heritage,mostly German. But love the pipes. Amazing Grace as they drop my body in the ground, not a dry eye in the house. My final scene.

Curiously, with the mill to the side in the above, it is these sorts of moments that nudge nostalgia into play for me. Long, long ago many of my ancestors of every age and gender were spinning and weaving the wool for such as this.

I served in a Scottish corps, as a proud Northumbrian. After an operational tour we marched behind a pipes and drum band. Still raises my hackles. Best sound ever
