New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced on Monday that the tallest tower of the David Dinkins Municipal Building will be open to the public for the first time. Located at 1 Centre Street, the mayor says the free tours will allow New Yorkers to get great views of the city without having to go to expensive tourist spots. He made the announcement on the second day of Black History Month in honor of New York City's first black mayor. The building was renamed after Dinkins in 2015.
