We have freedom of speech in this country. But when you sign a contract with a television company, you agree to terms and conditions. And when you spread vile lies about an assassination, that network is well within its right to yank you off air, because you’re alienating the sane people in this country who are looking to comedy for a laugh, not a political rant.

Just got a call from the Police. A protest has been organised to try and stop me from performing my show “Brace Yourself.” at the comedy festival. I won’t be intimidated and I won’t be cancelling. The followers of the Dalai Lama know the consequences of restricted speech better than just about anyone else on earth. You’re free to worship who you like in a free country, just as I am allowed to joke about whoever for whatever reason. That is the foundation of a free nation. Sorry, but I walked through hell to do these shows. I won’t be stopping over a protest
