Right these guys aren’t hiding it but they’re claiming the canceling isn’t canceling but using other terminology. It’s just like when the left says “it’s not cancel culture it’s consequence culture.” It’s so tired.

Being critical of someone isn't "canceling" them. People like Jon needs to grow a thicker skin JFC!

I don't understand why people are claiming they've been canceled. As a content creator, your success hinges on your audience. If you demean them and they start to leave, it’s your own fault. I've unfollowed several creators over this BS, not out of hate or a desire for them to be gone, but because I no longer agree with their viewpoints—on both sides. When you insist on claiming the moral high ground and people begin to disagree with your message, that reflects poorly on you; you are effectively canceling yourself. The situation didn't need to escalate, and the event that triggered it was so trivial that all the lies surrounding it became more important than the truth. In social media, you either thrive or fail based on the content and messaging you choose to deliver. If you feel you're being canceled, take a moment for self-reflection. It is likely you doing it.
