My adult son got the shot after stepping on nail from roof replacement. It was the sickest he ever was in his life. Splitting headache, fever, drenching sweats that required change of clothes and sheets. We were on verge of taking him to hospital several times. No shots ever again.

I'd like to know why they only offer 'cocktail' shots for tetanus ... called TDAP (tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis) - and not standalone. ~~~ The LAST set of shots (TDAP, influenza, shingles) I took were in November 2020 because I was told by my doctor that they were necessary as I had just had breast cancer surgery + radiation.

I got the tetanus vaccine back in 1998. My life changed for the worst. Severe neurological symptoms. Now I’m here thanks to Dr. Wallach.

I blindly trusted the medical mafia before I realized that it is a mafia! Never again. I’m still incensed over my youngest child’s vaccine injury.

Fun fact: when I first started working in trauma, doctors were ordering tetanus shots for trauma patients, whether they were conscious or not. I refused FTR.

Zero people have contracted tetanus from a rusty nail. Zero Crazy how that wives tale continues to this day.

Yes, but incomplete. There is another shot called TIG (Human Tetanus Immunoglobulin). I used to produce it myself in a lab. This is natural immunoglobulin synthesised into a shot and it’s natural. Used to also treat tetanus if you get it. It fights the active bacteria in the body because your immune system might take a while to activate and produce immunity. You might be dead by then as the immune response is a progressive thing. Unless you’re allergic to something and it explodes and panics. This is the book that explains this in detail.

A year and a half ago, I sustained a very deep bite wound on my hand from a cat. At the urgent care, they gave me a tetanus shot among other treatments. I have no idea if it was straight tetanus or a combo shot. Never even felt it being administered and had absolutely zero effects from it. Guess I got lucky. 🤷

Exposing the tetanus vaccine myth: It’s not a guarantee! Dr. Suzanne Humphries reveals a shocking truth about tetanus and the vaccine narrative in this eye-opening discussion. The reality? Even with a tetanus shot, stepping on a rusty nail could still lead to tetanus. Here’s why parents and patients deserve the complete story—because informed consent is critical. The Vaccine Fallacy: Dr. Humphries explains that the tetanus vaccine is not a guaranteed shield. Tetanus immune globulin (TIG), often used for deep wounds, comes from donors—some of whom contracted tetanus despite multiple vaccines. Yes, the shot doesn’t always protect, and severe tetanus remains a risk. Wound Care Wisdom Ignored: Why aren’t parents taught how to properly clean wounds to prevent tetanus? Dr. Humphries emphasizes that simple steps—like thorough cleaning and avoiding premature stitching—can be lifesaving. Tetanus thrives in dead tissue, and closing a wound too soon can trap infection, creating a breeding ground. Secondary healing, where wounds are left open to heal from the inside out, is a proven method to avoid this. (Open-heart surgery patients are sometimes left open to heal—it’s real!) The Bigger Picture: Tetanus is rare, but the fear-driven narrative overshadows practical prevention. Dr. Humphries argues that instead of pushing vaccines as the only solution, medical professionals should empower people with knowledge: clean wounds properly, monitor them, and understand how tetanus spreads. Why This Matters: The medical establishment isn’t sharing the full truth. From historical cases involving soldiers to modern examples, tetanus can strike even the vaccinated. Parents deserve to know how to protect their families without relying solely on a shot that might not work.
