Please reconsider working on an iPad version! I made it work with Apple’s Sidecar and although it’s functional, not perfect, it shouldn’t require that much of a rework/tweak to have it working natively, even still with some jankiness

Sad that Development was cancelled on the iPadOS version that comes with the M4/M5 with 16GB of RAM. There’s are millions more of iPad Pro owners then Galaxy Tab users. Yes I said Galaxy tab because the only Android tablet that is successful and powerful enough to run Blender is Samsung’s Galaxy Tab.

Abandoning iPad/iOS support for android is crazy work.

We already saw Blender on iPad. And where is Blender on iPad?

Blender on Android makes way more sense than ipad/ios, as Android support makes Blender way more accessible to people from developing nations where Android phones are what most people have access to, unlike people with iPads who are in a position to get Macs or PCs as well.

Android users were always left behind by other developers that only want to support iOS first. I'm excited that this development is going the other way around and we Android users are getting the priority, respect and entitlement we deserve once in a while. ❤️😆😍

Blender Support on iPad sold me iPad M5. Sad that it was canned for Android support.

Beatiful, hopefully wel‘l get Ipad support a bit after since i have ipad Pro m2 that would def benefit a ton from this( the only android device that could handle blender is my s25 ultra phone, but you know the small screen will make it hard.

They didn't cancel the iPad development, it is on hold (Android is likely easier and cheaper to develop for). Anyways, can't wait <3

y'all, the reason for no iOS support is because blender is has gpl license. which means you need to keep the project open. then stuff on the apple app store forces you to do stuff like ONLY distribute the app there and nowhere else, which breaks the gpl, which is all about freedo

ZERO working professionals are using android tablets lmao, get to work on ipad support

Considering that Android doesn't get as many Pro apps as iPadOS, this is a great development!
