Here’s a “mental load” argument that makes me cringe. Buying a present for a baby shower is part of the mental load. “The planning, the anticipation, the anxiety..” You have to plan and anticipate buying a gift? What? Why don’t men know how to buy baby shower gifts? I... show more

If "baby shower" is included anywhere in your complaints about how hard your life is, I'm done listening to you.

This is the most idiotic video I heard. lol. I do not know how to use some of the tools my husband uses. He does not know what diaper to buy for my grandson unless I told him. What in the world?

Detached from anything real or meaningful... These fools need to live in a developing nation for a year.

This is very sad to me. First, can we talk about the emphatic ‘hand pecking’? (Seeing that A LOT lately.) Second, and more importantly, the grousing about the husband whom you presumably selected for his masculine qualities, not for his interest in baby showers? Third, the complaining in general about baby-anything? No one forced you to have a baby of your own or to attend a baby shower. You may ignore the invitation altogether or send a gift by Amazon and be done with it. Societal expectations are not ACTUAL requirements or laws of some kind. Rather than enduring a miserable, put-upon existence, please swear off showers of all kinds, and perhaps other social engagements as well. At the very least, please stop making videos about how horrible life is, because it isn’t horrible, but it is short, and ain’t nobody got time for this.

How is there a mental load in going to the store and buying a gift card for the new parents? And I’m a woman with teenagers. I haven’t been to a baby shower in about 10 years and I have no idea about any products. No mental load, phew! And I don’t feel bad about it at all 🤣

"Societally we are conditioned to be mothers and know the top baby products" Society conditions women to be mothers? That's why women think about baby products? Just society? Ugh, she's the worse. Such low-insight leftist mental garbage.

Re “mental load”: women are preprogrammed to assume the responsibilities of the family. If you frame it the right way personally, it can be a joy. If you view it as “everything my husband isn’t doing”, you will rot on the inside. Husbands do a lot. Wives do a lot. Stop trying to make men be women.

Good grief! Listen to that. Mental load. 😂 I hope she saved time to get dinner ready before her husband gets home.

“Women are conditioned to be mothers”. Oh sweet Lord. These rich bitch control freak over thinkers raise my blood pressure. Her great grandmother would slap her silly.

These women create so much of their own unnecessary drama. It’s weird.

Gee, I wonder what women would do if men decided they were going to start organizing baby showers?

Good lord. Can we go back to the days when y’all were Rosie the Riveter and not a bunch of whiners?

This looks like the same lady who was in her kitchen complaining about the roles of marriage not too long ago

Why do all these insufferable whiners all hold their fingers like a bird's foot, is this a new thing or have they always done it and I've only just noticed ?

I’m sorry but buying a gift for a little baby and a new mom sounds like heaven to me. How many cute things you can choose from. This woman is just complaining for clicks

WE KNOW MORE ABOUT BABY PRODUCTS BECAUSE WE GROW THE BABY! FFS, this tik-tokker is so, so insufferable if you've seen her other videos and I couldn't imagine being married to her. What a prison that man lives in.

FFS women are fucking insane, attention whores. I cannot take it. Don’t go if it’s such a “mental load”. Trust me, I wouldn’t want you draining yourself for my gift.

Thank you. I occasionally offer to swap 'jobs' with my wife, usually when I need to crawl under one of our cars and change the exhaust, getting rust in the eye and some bloody knuckles along the way, or when I need to do toilet repairs, etc. Funny, she's never been interested...

I continue to be disappointed in the widespread participation of the comodification of child bearing

Dads might be more concerned about things such as issues at work, the air conditioner making funny noises, etc., etc., etc.

We are so far away from the greatest generation now that it hurts.

Zygote shower Cell clump shower

These women are so lame. I'm glad I'm from an older generation.

Because they’re MEN, they have enough of their own mental load trying to work and support you stupid ass women that can’t handle the mental load of buying a gift. 🫠

Millennials SUCK!!! Why are they so weak minded and everything is overwhelming and exasperating and it’s just so hard…fucking nut up like ALL the generations before you…life is really not that hard!!! 🙄

FO Lady!!!

Omg 🤦🏻♀️. But if a bug crawls up it’s not me catching it

What a moron.

I keep up with my car maintenance, even though I’m married. my husband takes care of his car, and i take care of my car & truck. These r things to know. also keep list of trades people amongst yoursekves as well. Be prepared.

Who invited her. She'll use it as an example

This is dumb. Men go to baby showers? I have my own peeves about mental load from my marriage, but expecting my husband to handle baby gifts was not one, at all. Calling me instead of checking the bank balance on the app? That was annoying, but I knew I was just quicker, lol.

Well I'll be goldurned if ye ain't tryin' to hold a feller accountable fer somethin' he don't know a lick about! Ye admit ye growed up learnin' all them baby-shower doin's, so ye handle what ye know an' he handles what he knows. Yer an insufferable woman, dang it!

The pressure she feels is the pressure to impress/compete with other guests. The "sisterhood" is cutthroat. I just buy what's on the registry or get a gift card if the mom is bougie and her requests are too expensive.

I feel so bad for men, they need to be very careful choosing the woman that'd be the mother of his children, it is NOT an easy task?

My husband is Mr Fix It. I just mention something is off and *poof* fixed! Car, lawn, appliances, internet? Poof! And I remind him when its his nieces' birthday so he can send her a shout out. I buy the Xmas presents and get them shipped around the country. Totally works!

“One of the hardest things to accept is lack of attraction. I have zero desire for this person. How would you say that to your husband or wife? That’s one of them. Another one is, how do you say this? You don’t even respect your partner anymore. Respect is a huge thing. And if you don’t respect your partner, you don’t want to fuck them, you know what I mean?” Luvbites by Dr. Tara
