Here's a mind-blowing open data portal that I think should be far better known than it is: Geoscience Australia's Historical Aerial Photography archive, containing 1.2 million aerial photos from the 1920s on! 🛩 🗺 🤯 Yellow dots = scanned downloadable photos!

@GeoscienceAus South Africa has a similar portal. Aerial photos for the entire country from ~1930 onwards repeated every decade or so Not as user-friendly, but the data is all there @DLRRD_za

@GeoscienceAus We used to have a whole room of aerial pics at CDU, not sure what happened to them

@GeoscienceAus ah the site I want is not scanned so I can't tell if they flew over it (a 1950s - 1970s drill site has apparently made a spring)

@GeoscienceAus There's a page here about ordering specific images... not sure if it's still current or if there's a cost associated, but might be a starting point! I can ask around at GA to see if there's a process for requesting certain images get scanned too

@GeoscienceAus This one is just for historical photos, but there's LIDAR available on the ELVIS portal!

Instagram founder Kevin Systrom on 3 common startup mistakes #1 Not launching fast enough Kevin explains that his biggest mistake with his failed app (Burbn) before Instagram was staying in private beta for 8 months: “I was worried that if we put it out there, we were going to get judged. And it turns out you want it to fail if it’s going to fail. You want to get that feedback. That fear of putting something out and having it being rejected is terrible, but at the same time it really teaches you to listen and go do something else.” He only came up with the idea for Instagram by getting Burbn in the hands of users and realizing people loved sharing photos. “If I could give any advice, it’s stay away from this private beta stuff. Put it out there. Find the people that are vocal about what you’re doing, and put it in their hands and listen to them. Listen to what they’re excited about.” #2 Not focusing on problems “I think far too many startups are technologies in search of a problem.” When Instagram got started, they weren’t trying to reinvent photography or even build a social network—that came later. Initially they focused on three problems: Making photos beautiful with great, free photos Allowing you to share them on multiple networks Fast photo uploads “That’s what turned Instagram from yet another network trying to tackle this photos thing to something people used.” Kevin advises entrepreneurs to ask themselves: What are the three problems you’re going to solve? #3 Maximizing features rather than doing a few things really well “I think with too many startups, the goal is to maximize features… The thing that ends up making the difference is not another feature that no one’s going to use. It’s what can you go really deep on?… We said: What do people love about the product and how can we make it even better?” Source: Kevin Rose (Jan 2012)

YUNHO'S BDAY MD IS GONNA BE A CAMERA 👀 🐶: Honestly, instead of trying to say it in a roundabout way...I released a camera as my birthday MD this time. 🐶: At one point, I used to carry a camera around, taking photos of people and different scenes. 🐶: And when I looked back at those memories later, it brought back the emotions I felt at that time. 🐶: So I thought, "it would be nice if ATINY could also capture their own happy moments and the feelings they had back then through this camera, just like I did" 🐶: I don’t have that many hobbies, but since that was one I really liked, I decided to make a cute, sentimental-style camera as part of my MD. 🐶: So I hope when ATINY sees it, you’ll take pretty photos, have fun like I do, and enjoy using it. 🐶: You can even take pictures of me with it, I’ll make sure to look good for you. 🐶: At concerts, or if you happen to see ATEEZ, or even just our photocards....capture those moments with it too. 🐶: And if you upload those photos, I’ll look at them and think, “Ah, this is how ATINY thinks of me,” “This is what ATINY might be feeling.” 🐶: For example, if you upload a photo of the ocean, I might think, “Maybe ATINY had a lot on their mind,” 🐶: “How were they feeling then?” 🐶: “Were they happy?” 🐶: I want to feel those emotions too through your photos. 🐶: That’s why I shared things like that before, and since ATINY did the same for me, I also want to experience those feelings from ATINY’s perspective...as if you were photographers. 🐶: So that’s why I released this as my birthday MD. 🐶: What do you think?~

🚨 BOMBSHELL: Kash Patel Slipped Up And Just Admitted the FBI "Enhanced" (Doctored) the Stairwell Photos Plus— Why Would They Release Suspect Photos AFTER Tyler Robinson Was Already In Custody?🤯 Last night, Baron Coleman dropped two massive bombshells that prove the FBI isn't just investigating the Charlie Kirk assassination—they are crafting a narrative. If you thought the "official story" felt off, wait until you see the receipts. (I apologize, i accidentally screen recorded his video in 1.5x so that's why it sounds sped up, i assure you Baron doesn't have a coke problem. lol) 🕰️ BOMBSHELL #1: THE "POST-ARREST" PHOTO LEAK Why would the FBI release "suspect photos" to the public to help find a man they already had in handcuffs? Baron proved the timeline: The second set of stairwell photos was released at 7:17 PM (Central) on September 11th. Tyler Robinson was already in custody and being Mirandized at that exact moment. The Logic: You don't ask the public for help finding someone you’ve already caught. The Reality: They weren't looking for a suspect; they were selling a culprit. They released those photos to cement the image of Tyler Robinson in the public mind before he ever saw a courtroom. 🖌️ BOMBSHELL #2: THE "ENHANCED" (DOCTORED) EVIDENCE In a massive slip-up on FOX News, Kash Patel admitted the stairwell images were "ENHANCED," which is a nice way of saying doctored. Whether it's AI or Photoshop, these images are NOT "fair and accurate representations" of the original scene. The "Right Angle" Cheek: Look at the photos—the lines on the suspect's face don't match human anatomy. There are literal overlays visible if you zoom in. The Multiple Suspects: Baron points out that the "waif-like" kid in the morning photos looks nothing like the "linebacker-shouldered" man in the afternoon photos. We aren't looking at one person; we’re looking at a digital collage. 🐜 THE "GUY" ON THE ROOF The FBI claims Tyler’s father recognized his son from the video of a figure jumping off the UVU roof. Are you kidding? The figure in that frame is so small they could be mistaken for a moth or a bug. There is no world where a parent identifies their child from a pixelated dot—unless they were coached or shown the "enhanced" (fake) photos first. ⚖️ THE LEGAL FALLOUT This is a major red flag for the trial. Evidence must be original. If the FBI admitted to "enhancing" these photos, they should be thrown out of court. "I wonder if this guy wasn't supposed to be the original Patsy... they look like two different people." — Baron Coleman The FBI didn't find the killer; they built one. They took a blurry photo and enhanced it to fit the the person they wanted to frame "Tyler Robinson." The FBI's official narrative now has more holes in it than swiss cheese. The truth is coming out whether they want it to or not. What do you think? Did the FBI doctor the evidence to pin this on Tyler? Let’s get the truth trending.
