Here’s a problem. When a Black political leader whose entire career is built upon the slogan of “land expropriation” stands in front of White landowners and reassures them that only unused land will be taken, while “productive” land will be spared, he’s not fighting dispossession. He’s managing it. He’s...

When a black political leader whose entire career is built on political action instead of sloganeering stands in front of the nation and says "land must be expropriated without compensation", he is taking the fight directly to land owners. He goes on to table laws in parliament

The natives will never get their land back, have full ownership of the economy and country through voting, the political system in South Africa is owned and controlled by wealthy colonial and apartheid European families who give cash to these blacks to manage the natives for them!

Julius has always been about managing SAns particularly the youth. He has done exactly what he speaks of by opening a trust for his children and making sure that his family is taken care of. He saw the political space as an opportunity for a better life.

Isn't the EFF the one's who are trying to take away a native King's land under Expropriation without compensation? I remember a native King or his representatives being against Land Expropriation without Compensation they were being targeted for their land while settlers were left unbothered

South Africa will have to do it the Zimbabwean way because it’s the only way or keep appeasement political way and it will never happen. They took it violently you have to match them the same way and be prepared to suffer. Freedom doesn’t come without suffering.

LAWYER DISPELS LAND EXPROPRIATION MYTHS South Africa's Land Expropriation Act, which was signed into law in early 2025 as part of efforts to provide redress for the country's historical land injustices, has generated considerable debate in recent months. The act allows the government to expropriate privately owned land for public purposes or in the public interest, with nil compensation in rare cases. Some, such as the Donald Trump-led United States governments and right-wing organisations inside South Africa, claim the law is part of what they allege to be 'persecution' of the country's white settlers. However, a closer look at the act shows that this is far from the truth. For instance, in this interview with Newzroom Afrika (@newzroomafrika5914 on YouTube), renowned South African lawyer Tembeka Ngcukaitobi (Ngcukaitobi1 on X) highlights that the act will most likely not result in any active settler-owned land taken away by the state without compensation. Ngcukaitobi explains that, despite right-wing elements portraying the act as radical, it is actually mild, as the nil compensation part will only apply to idle and abandoned land, implying that most settler farmers whose land is in active use will not be affected. This explanation aligns with arguments that have been put forward by progressive organisations such as the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), who say the law does not go far enough to address the land dispossession that Black South Africans were subjected to during centuries of European settler colonialism, which ramped up into apartheid between 1948 and 1994. They argue that the act will not alter the country's current land ownership structure, where white settlers own more than 72 per cent of the land according to a 2017 government land audit, despite making up only about 7 per cent of the population as per the 2022 national census. UPDATE FROM ORANIA, SOUTH-AFRICA. The ANC government in South-Africa is doubling down on land expropriation. A shocking new bill was just announced; land expropriation based on majority demographics. That means; land ownership must reflect the demographics of South-Africa. The Department of Land Reform and Rural Development announced today to the relevant parliamentary portfolio committee that the so-called "Equitable Access to Land" Bill will be introduced this year, the idea is to rush it through before the end of Neither the department nor the portfolio committee is making a secret of the fact that this bill specifically targets land ownership by white Afrikaners. They regard it as part of the freedom struggle that was left unfinished in 1994. This is another way of saying that they have decided to unilaterally suspend that settlement in yet another way. Dr Wynand Boshoff, Member of Parlement for the Freedom Front Plus, sent out a press release after the announcement of the committee. Negotiations in the 90’s between the previous government and the ANC were based on two basic foundational agreements. Afrikaners can keep land that were their property, and Afrikaners can have their own educational institutions and schools. In the past few months both these agreements fell victim to the ANC’s dishonesty. If some Afrikaners want to leave SA, I completely understand and, though saddened, wish them well. Orania however is suggesting a new dispensation. Territory for Afrikaners should be recognised. Without a dispensational change, the ANC will continue to vilify Afrikaners in order to cover up their own failures and satisfy their voter base. Recognizing a territory for Afrikaners will be stabilising for the region, in the interest of peace, and a nett positive for everyone. What we ask, we also extend to others that can maintain the same. Be solution driven. Be like Orania

Another good one for Justice Sila on land titles: If you have bought or deal in land, watch 👇🏽this. It’s not the TITLE DEED that matters, it’s the ROOT OF TITLE that matters. 1.We have become so corrupt that the courts have concluded that we can no longer rely on what is at the lands registry to know who owns the land, we have to go to the root of title. 2.Basically, what is in the land registry is valid, only to the extent there is no dispute on the title. The moment there is a dispute, and there is more than one title, then the registry ceases to have conclusive meaning. We then have to dig into the root of that title. Basically go back in time and see where the title originated from, how it has changed hands overtime to its current claim. Anyone who bought fraudulent land in the process is screwed because they bought fraud not land, even if they did a search at the registry. It does even matter which land was registered first. is supposed to make sense. When fraud is so prevalent, and even originates from the very people supposed to protect us, such as land registry staff, then the law must evolve to protect the public. Root of title is going to protect the public from its corrupt self. Sometimes a mad man is restrained to avoid self harm. 4.And the Good Judge has explained that it does NOT replace the Torrens system, it clarifies Torrens in that when there are two tiles, its Torrens itself that begins to search for the root of title it had all along assumed to be conclusive. Hence there is no conflict between the Stanchart Manchester vs Dina Management cases.
